SEE Result 2082 Published, 65.98% Students Pass

Kathmandu. The National Examination Board has published the result of the Secondary Education Examination (SEE) 2082.

According to Education Secretary Chudamani Paudel, 65.98 percent of students have passed the SEE this year. The result has improved by 4.17 percentage points compared to last year. In last year’s SEE, 61.81 percent of students had passed. 

The government had earlier announced that the SEE result would be published within one month of the completion of the examination. To publish the result earlier, arrangements were made to check answer sheets at the examination centres.

The Board published the SEE result on Monday night, 29 days after the examination ended. The SEE examination, which ended on Chaitra 29, had started on Chaitra 19. 

A total of 512,421 students participated in this year’s SEE. Of them, 257,613 were female students, 254,801 were male students, and 7 were from other categories.

Similarly, 23 students from Everest School in Japan participated in the examination. The SEE examination was conducted through 1,966 examination centres across the country.

SEE Result Improves to 65.98 Percent

This year, 430,667 students from across the country participated in the SEE examination. Of them, 284,160 students received various grades, while 146,507 students fell under the Non-Graded (NG) category.

Earlier, 61.81 percent of students had passed in the SEE result of 2081 BS. This year, the percentage increased to 65.98. Compared with the previous year, the result shows an improvement of 4.17 percentage points.

Before that, in the SEE examination of 2080 BS, only 47.86 percent of students had passed, while 52.14 percent had fallen under the NG category. With improvement seen for the second consecutive year, a positive signal has emerged in the education sector.

According to the published result, 48,392 students secured a GPA between 3.6 and 4. Similarly, 80,372 students secured a GPA between 3.2 and 3.6, 94,222 students secured a GPA between 2.8 and 3.2, and 55,977 students secured a GPA between 2.4 and 2.8.

Likewise, 5,190 students secured a GPA between 2 and 2.4, while seven students secured a GPA between 1 and 2, the board stated.
