CTEVT Special Scholarship Selection and Admission Notice
Council for Technical Education and Vocational Training (CTEVT), Office of the Examination Controller, Sanothimi, Bhaktapur, Notice regarding trainee selection, merit list recommendation, and result publication for special scholarship in technical education for pre-diploma and diploma/certificate level (excluding health programs) for the academic year 2082/83.
According to the budget and program provisions of the Government of Nepal for the fiscal year 2082/83, applications were invited to provide technical education to 50 students at the pre-diploma level and 200 students at the diploma/certificate level from Dalit, Muslim, marginalized, and disadvantaged communities across the country, as well as students permanently residing in 78 municipalities with no access to technical education.
Based on the notice published in Gorkhapatra National Daily on 2082/04/01 and the online applications submitted by 2082/04/29 (11:59 PM), merit order was determined in line with the "Pre-Diploma, Diploma, and Certificate Level Trainee Selection, Scholarship Distribution, and Admission Guidelines, 2082." SEE/SLC/pre-diploma grade sheets were used as the basis, adding 0.85 marks for those who passed from community schools, and the combined total was used to prepare the merit list.
As per the decision dated 2082/05/30, the main, pass, and canceled candidate lists by teaching institution and program have been published. Main candidates selected for Diploma in Hotel Management, Agriculture (Plant Science and Animal Science), Civil, Automobile, and Pre-Diploma in Automobile and Livestock Production/Animal Health programs must complete admission by 2082/06/10 (or the next working day in case of a public holiday).
For admission, selected candidates must visit the designated institution within the deadline with original documents (educational certificates, online acceptance card, original certificate for the applied quota category, and a copy of the published result).
Teaching institutions must verify candidates’ minimum academic qualification certificates, quota recommendation letters, and original acceptance cards, retain copies in institutional records, and admit only eligible trainees within the quota free of cost as per the guidelines. Admissions of ineligible applicants will not be registered by the Council, and responsibility will lie with the principal of the concerned institution.
If main candidates fail to get admitted within the given deadline and seats remain vacant, institutions must publish a five-day notice in Gorkhapatra National Daily, invite applications from candidates in the pass/waiting list, register received applications in the institution’s main register, and admit students strictly based on merit order from the pass list.
Vacant seats for applicants from the 78 municipalities with no access to technical education must be filled from the same province. If seats remain vacant, they must be filled from other provinces based on merit order.
