About Kalika Municipality
Kalika Municipality is located in the northeastern part of Chitwan District. It was declared by the Government of Nepal on 1 Ashoj 2072 by merging the former Shaktikhor, Padampur, and Jutpani VDCs. During state restructuring, Siddhi VDC was later merged on 27 Falgun 2073, forming the present municipal structure.
The municipality covers 149.08 square kilometres and has 11 wards. According to the National Census 2078, its total population is 52,164, including 26,673 females and 25,491 males. The municipality has 12,258 households.
Kalika Municipality includes both hilly and plain areas. The indigenous Chepang community lives in the hilly areas of Ward No. 10 and Ward No. 11. Other plain areas of the municipality have started developing urban characteristics.

The headquarters of Kalika Municipality is located at Kamalchowk in Chitwan District. The municipal office is currently located temporarily at Kamalchok, Kalika Municipality-6, while the office is to remain at Redcrossgram.
