CTEVT Invites Applications to Fill Posts via Internal Competition

Sanothimi, Bhaktapur | February 6, 2026 [2082-10-23 (BS)].

The Council for Technical Education and Vocational Training (CTEVT) Post Fulfilment Committee, Sanothimi, Bhaktapur has invited applications to fill various vacant posts of different services/groups/sub-groups and classes within the Council and offices under the Council through an internal competitive examination.

According to the notice, CTEVT service employees who have completed the required permanent service period in the post one class below within the relevant service/group/sub-group and who have obtained the minimum academic qualification as per Regulation 40 of the Council Employees Service, Terms and Facilities Regulation, 2069 (with Sixth Amendment) may submit online applications.

Eligibility

• Officer level: Completed 5 years of permanent service period.

• Assistant level: Completed 3 years of permanent service period.

Application Deadline

Applications can be submitted within 30 (thirty) days from the date this notice is first published, up to 12:00 midnight on March 7, 2026 [2082-11-23 (BS)] under the regular fee.

With a double fee, applications can be submitted within an additional 7 (seven) days, up to 12:00 midnight on March 14, 2026 [2082-11-30 (BS)].

How to Apply and Pay the Exam Fee

The notice states that eligible candidates must upload:

• Appointment letter

The examination fee must be paid through the online system via Connect IPS or the Khalti App.

Examination Type and Written Exam Authority

The notice states that the examination will be both written and interview, and the written examination will be conducted by the Public Service Commission (Lok Sewa Aayog).

The examination fee will be as prescribed for open competition posts.

Applications that are incomplete, submitted after the deadline, or submitted without required documents will not be processed. If such a form is found to have been accepted, it will be automatically cancelled at any time.

Written Exam Schedule and Syllabus

The date, time, and centre for the written examination will be as determined by the Public Service Commission for the above advertisements.

The notice states that the written exam syllabus is available on the Council office website.

Equivalency and Professional Registration Requirements

For academic qualifications requiring equivalency determination, a self-attested copy of the equivalency determination must be submitted mandatorily. Equivalency not submitted with the application will not be valid.

For candidates applying to technical posts under the Technical and Training Service, there is a provision requiring registration with professional bodies such as the Nepal Medical Council, Nepal Nursing Council, Nepal Engineering Council, and other professional organisations. A copy of the certificate proving registration with the relevant professional organisation must be submitted mandatorily within the final deadline.

8. For internal competition, the age limit will not apply as per Regulation 57 of the Council Employees Service, Terms and Facilities Regulation. “Age means the age completed on the final date for submitting an application for any post.”

9. Academic qualifications, inclusive certificates, council registration certificates, training experience, and service period obtained after the final date (regular fee deadline) for submitting applications will not be valid. Candidates who studied in foreign institutions must mandatorily include an equivalency determination letter for their qualification from the relevant authority.

As stated in the notice, applicants are requested to submit online applications within the prescribed deadline by uploading required documents, and the provision that incomplete or late applications will be automatically cancelled will be applicable.
