CTEVT Karnali Province Office Notice for Service Contract Applications
Council for Technical Education and Vocational Training (CTEVT), Karnali Province Office, Birendranagar, Surkhet, Notice regarding call for applications for selection of personnel on service contract.
CTEVT needs to hire technical training personnel on a service contract basis at schools under Karnali Province until the end of Ashadh 2083, unless another decision is made.
Therefore, interested and eligible Nepali citizens are informed to submit applications within 15 (fifteen) days from the date this notice is published for the first time (by 2082/09/22), during office hours, by appearing in person at the CTEVT Karnali Province Office, Surkhet, with the following: application form, educational qualification documents, copy of professional council registration certificate in the relevant subject (where required), copy of Nepali citizenship, 3 (three) passport-size photographs, and the voucher for the prescribed fee.

Examination, eligibility, fees, and other provisions

Type of examination: Written and interview. For the written examination, the second paper related to service will be conducted within 1 hour. There will be 50 objective multiple-choice questions. Each question will carry 2 marks. Total full marks: 100. Pass marks: 40.

Age limit: For Assistant Level First and Officer Level Third equivalent service entry, the candidate must have completed 21 years and must not have exceeded 50 years. “Age” means the age completed on the last date of application submission for the post.

Equivalence: Where equivalence determination is required for the educational qualification, a self-attested copy of the equivalence determination must be submitted mandatorily.

Professional council registration: For candidates applying for technical posts under technical and training services, there is a provision to be registered with professional bodies such as the Nepal Medical Council, Nepal Nursing Council, Nepal Engineering Council, etc. Therefore, a copy of the registration certificate in the relevant professional council must be submitted mandatorily within the final deadline for submitting the application.

Salary, allowances, and facilities: As per the Council’s Employee Service Conditions and Facilities Regulations, 2069 (with Sixth Amendment).

Applications not submitted within the deadline stated in the notice, or those lacking minimum qualification, or missing other required details, or without payment of the prescribed fee, or not duly completed, will not be accepted. If such a form is found to have been accepted, it will be automatically cancelled at any time.

Syllabus (curriculum): The service contract syllabus can be downloaded by logging in to www.ctevt.org.np and selecting CAREER.

Application fee: Deposit the prescribed examination fee according to the category below into the revenue account of the CTEVT Karnali Province Office at Rastriya Banijya Bank, Birendranagar, Surkhet, Account No. 4080100015528001, and attach the scanned original voucher. While depositing, the applicant’s full name must be mentioned mandatorily.

Place of work: The applicant must work only in the same constituent school designated by the CTEVT Karnali Province Office for which the application form has been submitted.

Matters not mentioned in this notice will be as per the CTEVT Employee Service Conditions and Facilities Regulations, 2069 (with Sixth Amendment), and other prevailing laws.

The written examination for the same posts as above will be conducted on the same day at the same time at the location designated by the CTEVT Karnali Province Office. One candidate may submit an application for only one school.

Examination date: Will be published later on the CTEVT Karnali Province Office website.

Final date to apply: 2082/09/22. If the final day to fill the application form falls on a holiday, the form may be submitted on the next day.
Candidates who pass the written examination must bring the original certificates of the documents included while submitting the application form when coming for the interview. If any discrepancy or false statement is found during certificate verification before the interview, such candidates will not be included in the interview and their application will be cancelled.
Minimum educational qualification
- Assistant Lecturer (Physics): Master’s level in Physics or equivalent from a recognized educational institution.
- Health Instructor (Nursing): Bachelor’s level in Nursing or equivalent from a recognized educational institution.
- Pharmacy Instructor: Bachelor’s level in Pharmacy or equivalent from a recognized educational institution.
- Geomatics Instructor: Bachelor’s level with Geomatics, or equivalent, from a recognized educational institution.
- Agriculture Instructor (Animal Science): Bachelor’s level in Agriculture (Animal Science/Livestock) or equivalent from a recognized educational institution.
