CTEVT Koshi Province Service Contract Recruitment Notice

Council for Technical Education and Vocational Training (CTEVT), Koshi Province Office, Itahari, Sunsari, Nepal, Notice Regarding hiring on service contract

CTEVT, Koshi Province, needs to hire personnel on a service contract basis for technical/training positions at its institutions, for the time being, until the end of Ashadh 2083 (unless another decision is made).

This notice is published for the information of all concerned. Interested and eligible Nepali citizens are informed to submit applications within 15 (fifteen) days from the date this notice is published for the first time, along with copies of their educational qualifications, a copy of Nepali citizenship, and the prescribed fee.

Applications may be submitted through the electronic system available on the Koshi Province Office website, or by appearing in person at the Koshi Province Office and applying for the prescribed positions.

Educational Qualification

• Assistant Lecturer, Chemistry: Master’s level in Chemistry or equivalent from a recognized educational institution.
• Assistant Lecturer, Biology: Master’s level in Microbiology or equivalent from a recognized educational institution.
• Health Instructor: MBBS, BPH, or equivalent from a recognized educational institution.
• Agriculture Instructor (Crop Science): Bachelor’s level in Agriculture (Crop Science) or equivalent from a recognized educational institution.
• Agriculture Instructor (Animal Science): Bachelor’s level in Agriculture (Animal Science) or equivalent from a recognized educational institution.
• Pharmacy Instructor: Bachelor’s level in Pharmacy or equivalent from a recognized educational institution.
• Health Assistant Instructor (General): Certificate level in General Medicine or equivalent from a recognized educational institution.

Other Information and Terms

1. Final date to apply: 2082/09/25

2. Age limit: For Officer Level Third Technical and Assistant Level Technical, applicants must have completed 21 years and must not have exceeded 50 years. “Age” means the age completed by the final date for application submission for any post.

3. Application fee: Officer Level NPR 1000; Assistant Level First NPR 500. The applicant must upload the voucher deposited via ConnectIPS or Rastriya Banijya Bank. (Account details: CTEVT, Koshi Province Office, Account No. 2550100001278001 (CTEVT KOSHI PROVINCE OFFICE))

4. Syllabus: As per the service entry syllabus provisions for the relevant service group/sub-group, level, category, and post, the objective multiple-choice examination system will be conducted from the second paper related to service. The syllabus can be viewed at www.ctevt.org.np by selecting the “Career” option.

5. Professional council registration: As there is a provision that candidates applying for technical posts under technical and training services must be registered with the relevant professional council and/or professional organizations related to their qualification and professional practice, a copy of the relevant professional council registration certificate must be submitted mandatorily.

6. Type of examination: Written and interview. (Examination type and weight: the written examination will be conducted from the second paper related to service, within 1 (one) hour. The objective multiple-choice exam will have 50 questions, with 2 marks per question. Total full marks: 100; pass marks: 40.)

7. Equivalence: For educational qualifications requiring equivalence determination, a copy of the equivalence determination must be self-attested and submitted mandatorily. Equivalence not submitted with the application will not be accepted.

8. Document verification: Candidates who pass the written examination must bring the original certificates of the documents uploaded while filling the online application form when coming for the interview. If any discrepancy or false statement is found during verification before the interview, such candidates will not be included in the interview, and their application will be cancelled. Successful candidates will be recommended on the basis of merit order.

9. Salary, allowances, and facilities: As per the Council’s Employee Service Conditions and Facilities Regulations, 2069 (with amendments).

10. Examination date: Will be published later on the CTEVT Koshi Province Office website.
