CTEVT Gandaki Province Office Service Contract Application Notice

Council for Technical Education and Vocational Training (CTEVT), Gandaki Province Office, Pokhara, Kaski, Notice regarding call for applications on service contract.

CTEVT, Gandaki Province Office, and the following schools under it, need to hire technical personnel on a service contract basis until the end of Ashadh 2083, unless another decision is made.

Therefore, interested and eligible Nepali citizens are informed to submit an application within 15 (fifteen) days from the date of publication of this notice (by 2082.09.18), for the designated schools, along with the following: copies of academic qualification certificates, 3 (three) passport-size photographs, an attested copy of Nepali citizenship, and the prescribed fee.

Applications may be sent by email to the Gandaki Province Office, or submitted in person by appearing at the Gandaki Province Office.

Other terms

1. Age limit: For Officer Level Third Technical and Assistant Level Technical posts, the applicant must have completed 21 years and must not have exceeded 50 years. “Age” means the age completed on the final date of application submission for the post.

2. Equivalence: If equivalence determination is required for the educational qualification, a self-attested copy of the equivalence determination must be submitted mandatorily.

3. Professional council registration: As there is a provision that candidates applying for technical posts under technical and training services must be registered with the relevant professional council for professional practice, a copy of the registration certificate must be submitted mandatorily within the final deadline for submitting the application.

4. Salary, allowances, and other facilities: As per the Council’s Employee Service Conditions and Facilities Regulations, 2069.

5. Place of work: The applicant must work only in the same constituent school for which the form has been submitted.

6. Applications submitted after the deadline stated in the notice, or those lacking minimum qualification, or missing other required details, or without payment of the prescribed fee, or not duly completed, will not be accepted. If such a form is found to have been accepted, it will be automatically cancelled at any time.

7. Syllabus: The syllabus can be downloaded from “Career” by logging into the Council’s website www.ctevt.org.np.

8. Application fee: Deposit the prescribed examination fee according to the category into the account at Rastriya Banijya Bank, Birauta Branch, Pokhara, under CTEVT Gandaki Province Office, Account No. 3500100000234001, Account Name: Technical Education and Vocational (PRABIDHIK SIKCHAYA TATHA BYABASAYIK), and attach the voucher. While depositing the amount, the applicant’s full name must be mentioned mandatorily.

9. Application fee:

   • Serial No. 1, Category: Officer Level, Third, Examination fee: 1000/-

   • Serial No. 2, Category: Assistant Level, First, Examination fee: 500/-

10. Examination type and marks weight: As per the marks weight and competition type, only the second paper related to service will be conducted in 1 (one) hour. Objective multiple-choice questions: 50; marks per question: 2. Total marks: 100; Pass marks: 40.

11. Matters not mentioned in this notice will be as per the CTEVT Employee Service Conditions and Facilities Regulations, 2069 (with Sixth Amendment), and other prevailing laws.

12. Written examination date:

• Officer Level, Third, Technical (all posts): 2082 Poush 23, Wednesday, 7:30 AM

• Assistant Level, First, Technical (all posts): 2082 Poush 23, Wednesday, 9:00 AM

13. The written examination for the above posts will be conducted at the location designated by the Province Office, and the examination center will be published later on the Gandaki Province Office website.
