The International Nepal Fellowship (INF Nepal), a non-governmental organization committed to the service of Nepal's underprivileged and marginalized communities, announces an exciting job opportunity. Having been established in 1952, we have an enduring commitment to improving the lives of the Nepali people, primarily in the Gandaki, Lumbini, Karnali, and Sudurpashchim provinces. Currently, we are on the lookout for a Finance Assistant to join our dedicated team at our Central Office in Pokhara.

Positions: Finance Assistant

##Role Overview

The role of the Finance Assistant is crucial for maintaining financial integrity and ensuring sound internal controls within our organization. Working under the guidance of the finance officer, this position involves maintaining and operating accounts in line with the INF Finance Policy and procedures.

##Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain financial entries and records
  • Understand and apply TDS-related rules as per the Income Tax Act
  • Prioritize tasks effectively
  • Operate under pressure

##Essential Qualifications & Skills

The ideal candidate must meet the following qualifications and skills:

  • Completion of Intermediate/+2 in Management (with accountancy as a subject)
  • Minimum of 1-year work experience in a similar position
  • Proficient in MS Office, particularly Excel and Word
  • Good understanding of accounting systems and software
  • Compliance with INF Nepal's values
