POSITION:
1. PROGRAM OFFICER (1)
- The purpose of this position is to ensure regular support to NGO partners in planning, implementation, and monitoring of projects and programme in the sector of livelihood where aspects related to access, empowerment, equality, and participation are strongly integrated.
- The Program Officer will also ensure that the livelihood project integrates social cohesion as one of the major integrated components.
- The Program Officer will provide support to partner NGOs to ensure that FCA's standards of project planning, implementation, and monitoring tools and techniques are applied.
- S/he will be responsible to prepare and ensure the quality of NGO partners' progress reports and provide a summary to Program Manager.
- S/he will carry out monitoring visits and capacity assessments of partner organizations and prepare plans and initiatives to build the capacity of the NGO partners as per the assessment.
- The PO will be a part of the team for developing funding proposals particularly through linking lessons from ongoing projects.
Place of Assignment: Kathmandu, with frequent travels to field locations in Nepal.
Position Term: Fixed term till 31 December 2023 with the possibility of extension.
