Gurkha Bharti (British Army and Singapore Police) Recruitment and Selection 2022 Selection is based on merit and only the best candidates will be accepted. The selection process will be free, fair, and transparent.

This year, the British Gurkha will recruit 230 and the Gurkha Contingent Singapore Police Force will recruit 140 aspiring youths.

Registration for all candidates from the West and East who wish to be recruited will be open in British Gorkha Pokhara from May 24 to July 30, 2021. Interested youth will be informed about their special registration date, district, municipality, and Rural Municipality through our website http://www.army.mod.uk/bgn.

The training centers have no connection with the British Gurkha and Gurkha Contingent Singapore Police Force. They do business out of our control. Admission to training centers can be expensive and there is no guarantee of success in Gurkha recruitment. If you find out that someone has paid a bribe, you will be barred from recruitment forever.

Minimum Qualifications Required for British Gurkha Recruitment (for Intake 2022):

Educational Qualification: Passed SLC Minimum 3rd Division (Even if Compartment Passed) or equivalent. In the new SEE grading system, only minimum 3C and 2D grading will be recognized. C grading in English and Mathematics should be mandatory for admission in British Gurkha. C grading in English should be mandatory for recruitment in Singapore Police but those who have passed in Mathematics will be recognized.
Age: Must have completed at least 18 years of age by January 1, 2022, and not exceeding 21 years of age.
Height: Must be at least 158 ​​cm.
BMI: Must be 18-28 (Advice will be given at the time of registration)
Eyes / Glasses / Contact Lenses: Crossed Eyes or Dedo Eyes or Large or Small Eyes Spectacles / contact lenses / laser surgery will not be accepted.
Teeth: There should be no more than two faults, no front teeth, no fake teeth, no insect bites, no inside or outside faults.
Passport: Machine Readable Passport (MRP) will be mandatory for registration.
You have to be a Nepali citizen to be recruited in British Gurkha and Singapore Police.
