Human Practice Foundation Vacancy:

Human Practice Foundation (HPF) a Danish INGO has been working in Nepal since 2017. HPF aims to improve the quality of education, health and livelihood of the rural people of Nepal and other parts of the world HPF are looking for a qualified, independent and experienced candidate with high integrity for the following position:

Position: Project Supervisors

Required number: 2 (one for hardware and one for WASH)

Location: Different construction sites in Taplejung

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Proficiency Certificate Level in civil engineering or Diploma in civil engineering with 3 years experience or Sub Overseer with 5 years of work experience in a similar role 
  • Work effectively under pressure, manages stress well, adapts to rapidly evolving situations & community/SMC 
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills 
  • Sensitive on gender and social inclusion and politically impartial

Key Responsibility:

Under the direct supervision of Project Manager, the incumbent will have the following key responsibilities:

  • Project planning and coordinate an action plan with the PM and Program Director(PD) in Taplejung
  • Supervise /Monitor overall School building Construction works
  • Responsible for appointing tasks and supervising the performance of senior mason and workers on site
  • Training, coaching and regular supervision to senior mason and motivate head teachers and SMC's as required. Establish good coordination and collaboration with Head Teacher, SMCs, Rural Municipalities and the local community
