International Nepal Fellowship (INF) Vacancy Announcement:

International Nepal Fellowship (INF-N) is a Christian non-governmental organization that has been working in the health and development sectors in the Western Regions of Nepal for more than 67 Years. INF Nepal is looking for qualified, passionate and self-motivated Nepali Citizen for the following posts:

1. Post: Head of Quality Assurance

Required No: 1

Location: Pokhara with frequent travel

Purpose of the Job: Responsible to ensure the quality and standard of all INF work through oversight of the MELA (monitoring, evaluation, learning, and accountability) processes and ensuring evidence-based technical expertise is applied across the organization.

Required Qualifications. Skills and Knowledge:

  • Master's Degree in Management, Information Management, Project Management or other relevant subjects with minimum 5 years' experience at senior level (including minimum 3 years' MELA experience across a variety of projects) in an I/NGO or Governmental organization.
  • Excellent understanding of current national and international development trends, practices, community development & empowerment models and project management cycle.
  • Proven ability to manage MELA in a complex organization with good analytical and conceptual skills.
  • Good networking, facilitation, influencing and capacity-building abilities.
  • High level of computer literacy with excellent communication competency in written and spoken English & Nepali.
  • Willing and able to travel extensively to all INF work areas.

2. Post: DRR, Response & Resilience Coordinator

Required No: 1

Location: Pokhara with frequent travel

Purpose of the Job: Post holder is responsible for Disaster Risk Reduction (DRR), Disaster Response and Resilience, technical input to all INF projects (community and medical) at an organizational level, and as a resource person in this thematic area, to build staff capacity and ensure a highest technical standard of work. Coordination of disaster response in case of a disaster.

Required Qualifications, Skills and Knowledge:

  • Master's Degree in Environmental Science, Development, Social Science or other relevant subjects with a minimum 5 years' experience in DRR, Disaster Response, and Resilience work in an I/NGO or Governmental organization.
  • Extensive experience in DRR and Disaster resilience in community projects at field level and able to train within this thematic area.
  • Strong understanding of project management cycle, budgeting regarding empowerment and DRR & Disaster Resilience projects.
  • Strong communication skills (Spoken and written both in Nepali and English), interpersonal skills and capacity building (training) skills and excellent computer literacy.
  • Willing and able to travel extensively to all INF work areas.

3. Post: MELA Coordinator

Required No: 1

Work Location: Nepalgunj (negotiable) with frequent travel

Purpose of the Job; The post holder is responsible to liaise with assigned projects to build the capacity of the projects and systems for Monitoring, Evaluation, Learning & Accountability activities to ensure the highest technical standard of work.

Required Qualifications, Skills and Experiences:

  • Masters' Degree in Development, Social Science or other relevant academic backgrounds with minimum 3 years' experience MELA experience (including data analysis), working across a variety of projects in an International/National Non-Governmental or Governmental setting.
  • Good understanding of the project management cycle regarding empowerment projects, proven ability to lead MELA within the project cycle.
  • Strong communication skills (Spoken and written in both Nepali and English), interpersonal skills and capacity building (training) skills.
  • Excellent computer literacy with a high level of skill with Excel, Kobo Toolbox or other relevant data analysis systems.
  • Willing and able to travel extensively to all INF work areas.
