Kalika Development Center Nepal invites the applications from interested, committed, dynamic team players and experienced Nepali nationals for the following position. KDC Nepal is one of the social development organizations in Pyuthan district. In partnership with Stromme Foundation Nepal, KDC Nepal is implementing the SEEDS (Socio-Economic Empowerment with dignity and sustainability) program (2019-2023) in Airawati Rural Municipality of Pyuthan district. SEEDS program focuses on three core thematic Goals i.e.Building strong civil societies, Ensuring inclusive quality education and Creating livelihoods and job opportunities.

Required Number: 1

Required Qualification and Experiences:

  • Minimum Bachelor's degree (Master's Degree preferred) in Statistics, Information Management, Social Science, or relevant field
  • Three years of working experience in Result based monitoring and evaluation (MnE), data management and reporting

Key Competencies

  • Develop and optimization of MEAL system that measures program-wide performance and achievements
  • Establish a coherent MEAL system (approaches, procedures, structures)
  • Design of M&E plans, data collection tools, data management, and analysis to ensure programs are properly implemented to achieve the planned results
  • Develop and oversee implementation of RBM systems for data collection, quality assurance, analysis and reporting on activity outputs/outcomes and program quality
  • Set up Project Management Information Systems (MIS) and mapping to improve implementation of activities and technology-driven MEAL system and tools
  • Support program teams in preparing and managing internal assessments, external program evaluations, impact studies and case studies
  • Assess the achievement of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and the results
  • Establish/strengthen and supervise the implementation of accountability mechanisms including complaints and beneficiary feedback and response mechanisms during the project life cycle
  • Develop formats and templates to aid documentation of learning from the MEAL system to support networking and advocacy processes
  • Build an organizational knowledge base through research and documentation
  • Strong conceptual knowledge about theories of change, logic model, M&E systems design, performance measurement, quantitative and qualitative data collection and analysis, data quality assurance, database management, data visualization, and reporting
  • Ability to manage and prioritize a high workload with a flexible approach to changing environments
