Kathmandu International Study Centre (KISC) is a culturally diverse international school which represents students from 21 different countries. Over 80% of the students are international. KISC has vacancies for teaching positions for Primary and Secondary as well as a few non-teaching staff for the academic year 2019-2020 school years starting August.

Minimum qualification for all posts

All qualified applicants must have outstanding ability in reading, writing, speaking and listening in English. All qualified applicants of secondary teachers are required to teach Cambridge IGCSE and A level course. They must be willing to adhere to and support the KISC mission, vision, and values and have a relevant degree preferably from an international university, as well as experience working in an international school or experience in an educational setting outside of Nepal.

 Qualification and Experience:

  • School leaders (Director, Head of Secondary, Head of Primary): Master's degree preferred with a minimum of 5-10 years teaching experience in international school settings. Experience in leading and managing the cross cultural academic team in an international school setting.
  • Primary Grade Teachers: Experience in an international school setting is required. Bachelor's degree from International university preferred, with a minimum of 2 years of teaching /classroom experience in International Primary school setting.
  • Teacher Trainers: Master's degree in relevant subject with 5 years of Teaching experience in relevant field plus experience in training Nepali teachers. Committed to being based in remote project areas. Frequent travel is required to train and follow up with teachers in different rural areas of Nepal.
