Koshish National Mental Health Self Help Organization Vacancy Notice:
Vacancy Announcement KOSHISH is a non-governmental organization working in the field of mental health, psychosocial wellbeing, and disability in Nepal since 2008. As a response to the COVID-19 emergency, KOSHISH is going to offer emergency mental health and psychosocial support services in Gandaki province. All the job positions must be flexible to based on Pokhara or Damauli with frequent travel to different municipalities of Tanahun, Gorkha and Lamjung districts as per program need. We invite applications from interested and eligible candidates for the following positions.
1. Project Officer - 1 Position
Fixed term employment for 6 months starting 15th June 2020.
The applicant must of Master's Degree in any stream with the proven skills of project implementation, documentation, reporting, and excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and Nepali. Preferences will be given to the candidate who has worked during emergencies, having good coordination skills with local-level stakeholders, and has their own motorbike with a valid license.
2. Psychologist - 3 Positions
Fixed term employment for 6 months starting 15th June 2020.
The applicant should have at least PGD in Counseling or a Master's Degree in Psychology and have relevant training. The applicant must have proven experience of providing Psychosocial Counseling, empathetic communication, familiarity with the psychosocial model of counseling, and monitor and follow up of the persons who received counseling. Preferences will be given to the candidates having work experience in emergency response.
