Position Overview:
The Senior Officer, Promotion & Outreach will spearhead strategic initiatives to elevate the college’s visibility, foster student development, and strengthen institutional partnerships. This role combines creativity, strategic planning, and stakeholder engagement to enhance academic programs and drive enrollment growth.
Key Objectives:

Design and implement innovative strategies to promote academic programs and institutional achievements.

Enrich student experiences through dynamic co-curricular and extracurricular initiatives.

Cultivate partnerships and outreach efforts to expand the college’s community impact and student base.
Core Responsibilities:
1. Strategic Promotion & Digital Management (40%)

Develop and execute comprehensive marketing plans to attract prospective students, aligning with academic calendars.

Manage the college’s website, social media platforms, and digital content to ensure timely updates and engagement.

Produce high-quality promotional materials (e.g., prospectuses, newsletters, alumni profiles) and oversee publication of college journals/magazies.

Design visually impactful banners, posters, and multimedia content to highlight programs and events.
2. Stakeholder Engagement & Partnerships (25%)

Build partnerships with external organizations, industry leaders, and educational institutions to enhance program quality and visibiity.

Organize networking events, open houses, and collaborative activities to foster community relationships.

Maintain databases for students, faculty, and alumni to streamline communication and outreach efforts.

Prepare proposals for infrastructure upgrades, scholarships, and grant-funded initiatives.
3. Academic Collaboration & Student Support (15%)

Work closely with academic departments to align promotional strategies with curriculum goals and calendar timelines.

Facilitate student skill-building through workshops, mentorship programs, and leadership opportunities.

Monitor student feedback and alumni insights to recommend program improvements.
4. Program Development & Innovation (10%)

Identify and implement creative solutions to enhance existing academic offerings and student services.

Design student empowerment initiatives, including internships, competitions, and career development programs.
5. Event Coordination & Operational Support (10%)

Oversee co-curricular activities, orientation programs, and admissions processes to ensure seamless execution.

Maintain records of counseling sessions, student meetings, and outreach activities.

Publication of at least two alumni profiles and three promotional materials per academic term.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or Education (Master’s preferred).

5+ years of experience in outreach, student engagement, or institutional promotion.

Proficiency in digital tools (e.g., CMS, Adobe Suite) and data management systems.

Strong communication, leadership, and project management skills.
