Applications are invited through open competition to fill vacant Padik and Billadar posts in the Nepali Army under the Prad, Technical, Air, and Miscellaneous services.
Eligible Nepali citizens are requested to fill out the online application form through the official Nepali Army website at www.nepalarmy.mil.np or the official Recruitment Selection Directorate portal at http://vacancy.nepalarmy.mil.np, print the submitted form, and appear in person to submit the application at the Nepali Army Central Recruitment Selection Center, Sano Bharyang, Swayambhu.

3. Application Submission Date and Place
Application Period: From 2082/12/27 to 2083/01/26.
Double Fee Period: From 2083/01/27 to 2083/02/02 for an additional 7 days with double fee.
Applications must be submitted within office hours during the stated period.
If the final submission date for regular or double fee falls on a public holiday, candidates who have completed the online form may submit the application fee and register the application on the next working day within office hours.
Submission Venue: Nepali Army Central Recruitment Selection Center, Sano Bharyang, Swayambhu.
4. Application Fee

Candidates must submit the original voucher, 1 copy, or, if the fee has been paid online, 1 copy of the payment receipt along with the online application form.

B. Physical Qualifications
These physical standards apply to candidates for all posts.

Weight: Men minimum 50 kg (110 pounds); Women minimum 40 kg (88 pounds)

Eyes: If glasses are used, eyesight must not be weaker than ±2. For serving candidates under the military technical service, it must not be weaker than ±2.5. This applies to both men and women.

BMI: Minimum 16 and maximum 27 for both men and women
C. Other Qualifications
Candidates must be declared fit through BMI and health examinations. They must not have been convicted by a court of a criminal offense involving moral turpitude, must not currently be a member of any political party, must not be or have been involved in criminal activity, must not be or have been a member of any organization with destructive objectives, must not have been convicted of espionage against Nepal, must not have been convicted of violations of human rights and humanitarian law, and must not have been dismissed from service in a way that disqualifies them from future government service.
Other qualifications must be as stated in the Military Service Regulations, 2069; Military Prad Service Regulations, 2074; Military Technical Service Regulations, 2076; Military Air Service Regulations, 2078; Military Miscellaneous Service Regulations, 2074; and Recruitment Selection Directive, 2079.
6. Candidate Eligibility by Age
Candidates must have completed 18 years of age and not exceeded 25 years by the final application date, 2083/01/26. This means the candidate’s date of birth must fall between 2058/01/26 and 2065/01/26.
7. Serving Candidates in Military Service
A. Eligibility for Serving Soldiers
For the above posts, qualified serving personnel in the Nepali Army may apply up to 3 times until they reach 35 years of age, as provided in the relevant service regulations. This applies to those born on 2048/01/26 or after.
Candidates must have acquired the required educational qualification for the relevant post, completed basic military training, and must compulsorily submit a recommendation letter from the unit commander.
B. Minimum Service Period
By the final application date, 2083/01/26, the candidate must have completed at least 1 year of service.
8. Required Documents to Be Submitted
Candidates must self-attest and submit 1 copy each of the following documents in a Nepali file. Certificates containing corrections, overwriting, or double entries will not be accepted. Candidates must also bring the original copies of all submitted documents when coming to apply.

For degrees obtained from boards or universities other than those in Nepal: equivalency certificate from the Curriculum Development Centre or Tribhuvan University

For certificates issued before the implementation of the Letter Grading Directive, 2078: minimum GPA 2 / CGPA 1.6 or above, and no subject below D+

For certificates issued under the Letter Grading Directive, 2078: for SEE, minimum GPA 2 or above and the original certificate must have been obtained; for Grade 12, minimum GPA 1.6 or above and the original certificate must have been obtained

If the candidate holds a higher qualification in the same subject instead of the exact advertised minimum qualification: that higher qualification will be accepted as meeting the minimum educational requirement
Additional Documents for Descendants of Nepali Army Personnel Killed in Duty or Physically Disabled in Duty
The following additional documents must be self-attested and submitted by the concerned candidate:

Certified copy: evidence that the name is included in the list published by the Directorate of Ceremonial Operations, including the Ragatka Jagga name list, or a pension entitlement letter stating martyrdom, death in the line of duty, or disability in the line of duty

For serving soldiers: 1 copy of the Medical Board recommendation letter under Rule 107 of the Military Service Regulations, 2069

1 copy of proof of relationship with the concerned candidate
9. Photographs
The candidate must submit recent identical photographs in which the full face, including both ears, is clearly visible.

After registration of the application form, candidates must appear in person at 1100 hours on 2083/02/13 at the Nepali Army Central Recruitment Selection Center, Sano Bharyang, Swayambhu, or obtain information about the upcoming examination schedule from the EXAM NOTICES section of the official Recruitment Selection Directorate portal at http://vacancy.nepalarmy.mil.np.
11. Selection Process
The selection process will include the following stages:

Candidates who fail any one examination will not be allowed to participate in subsequent examinations.

12. Salary, Allowances, Rations, and Other Facilities
These will be as per the prevailing rules and arrangements of the Nepali Army.
13. Other Conditions
A. Government and Semi-Government Employees
Employees currently working in the Government of Nepal or other semi-government organizations must compulsorily mention their employment details in the application form and submit the departmental approval letter at the time of application submission. Failure to do so will result in cancellation of the application and all examinations.
B. Personal Responsibility
Candidates themselves will be responsible for their personal safety during the selection examinations, and if any accident occurs during the examination period, the candidate alone will be responsible.
C. Documents to Bring During Different Examinations
When appearing for different examinations, candidates must bring their admit card, one 2x2 size photograph, and original citizenship certificate.
D. Inclusive Category Competition
Candidates wishing to compete under the inclusive category may compete in only one community category among Indigenous/Nationalities, Madhesi, and Dalit. This provision does not apply to women. Candidates from backward areas, both women and men, may also apply and compete under the backward area quota.
E. Self-Declaration About Other Applications
If a candidate has already submitted an application for any other ongoing recruitment process in the Nepali Army, the candidate must make a self-declaration. Candidates applying for other posts must mention the post and advertisement number while filling out the online application form.
F. Original Verification and False Information
Candidates must present the original copies of all details submitted both at the time of application form submission and at the board interview. If any detail submitted by a candidate is found to be false, action will be taken according to prevailing law.
14. Information on Filling the Online Application Form
A. Application Portal
Go to the official Nepali Army portal at http://vacancy.nepalarmy.mil.np and click on “Apply Online.”
B. Details to Be Filled In
The following details must be entered in Nepali Unicode while filling out the online application form. A photograph of the candidate, Nepali citizenship certificate, educational qualification certificates, and a scanned or digital copy of the revenue payment voucher are mandatory.

C. Initial Eligibility Entry
At the start of the online application process, the system will first require entry of minimum eligibility details such as age, educational qualification, and citizenship. Only after those details are validated will the candidate be allowed to proceed to the remaining forms.
D. Submission and Download
After entering and uploading the required details and documents, the candidate must upload the scanned or digital copy of the revenue payment voucher, click “Submit Application,” then download the application form, admit card, and revenue payment voucher, save them in PDF format, and print them.
E. Physical Submission of Printed Form
The candidate must submit the printed application form, with photograph and applicant’s signature/thumb impression, to the Nepali Army Central Recruitment Selection Center, Sano Bharyang, Swayambhu, within the prescribed date.
F. Online-Only Submission Not Valid
If any candidate only submits the application online and does not submit the printed form to the recruitment selection center, that online-only submission will not be recognized as valid.
G. Technical Support
If a candidate faces technical difficulties while filling out the online application form, the difficulty may be reported through “Request for Help.” Information related to questions or difficulties can also be obtained through “Frequently Asked Questions.” For additional information, candidates may contact the Information Technology Directorate at 01-5979305 during office hours.
15. Special Notice
In accordance with the mandamus order issued on 2079/10/24 by the Honorable Supreme Court in the writ petitions including Writ No. 078-WO-0382, in which the Nepali Army, Recruitment Selection Directorate, Executive Department, Army Headquarters, Kathmandu and others are respondents, this notice has been published for recruitment under the prevailing law for the time being.
After necessary legal arrangements are made regarding the inclusive groups, and as provided by law concerning fulfillment of the portion that also includes the posts actually lost due to non-inclusion in fiscal year 079/80, based on the proportional calculation of the inclusive group out of the total posts to be maintained, action will be taken accordingly.
