Nepal Secretariat of Skills and Training (NSST) is a Company not Distributing Profit with the purpose to explore, build and adapt the dual vocational training system from successful countries (such as Germany, Austria, Switzerland) by complementing and improving the existing Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) system in Nepal.

Applications are invited for the below-mentioned position at Nepal Secretariat of Skills & Training:

Chief Executive Officer

Requirement: Candidates must have

  • A Bachelor's or Masters Degree with a focus on Business Administration & Marketing, Intercultural Behavior. Leadership, Strategic Management.
  • At least five years of working experience in German or at least a European country preferably in a Management/Academic Position.
  • At least five years working experience in Nepal in Management/Academic Position.
  • Good Knowledge of the Education system and Vocational Training system in Germany, Austria, or Switzerland.
  • Languages required (Must): German (fluently) 8 English.

Key job responsibilities Include:

  • An operational lead of the company
  • Work with the Board of Directors: propose an annual budget, advise strategy and program and get approval, prepare and provide a progress report.
  • Decide and guide actions in the operation, financial and physical resources of the company.
  • Oversee fundraising planning and implementation, including identifying resource requirements, researching funding sources. establishing strategies to approach hinders. submitting proposals. and administrating fundraising records and documentation
  • Oversee all activities and projects of the company, including research, funding. program development, and project management.
  • Public Relations, build up cooperations, represent the Company: Contacts with investors from diverse industries, government representatives, initiative representatives, and other relevant stakeholders in Nepal and Western countries
