Nepal Public Health Research and Development Center (PHRD Nepal): Multiple Job Opportunities

The renowned Nepal Public Health Research and Development Center (PHRD Nepal) is currently conducting two vital national-level surveys, namely the World Health Survey PLUS (WHS+ Survey) and the Post Campaign Coverage Survey for TCV Campaign-2022. These significant surveys aim to improve immunization preventable diseases and boost public health throughout Nepal.

As part of this grand initiative, PHRD Nepal is inviting qualified Nepali candidates to apply for several positions to support field implementation. The positions, required number of candidates, locations, duration, and eligibility criteria are outlined below.

1. Field Researcher

• Required number: 165
• Working Location: Nationwide
• Duration: 2- 3 Months

Eligibility Criteria:

• Degree in BPH /BN/BSc. Nursing / HA / Staff Nurse or any other relevant discipline
• Experience in conducting field-based surveys

2. Supervisor

• Required number: 25
• Working Location: Nationwide
• Duration: 4 – 5 Months

Eligibility Criteria:

• Degree in BPH /BN/BSc. Nursing or any other relevant discipline
• At least 2 years of experience in quantitative and qualitative data collection
• Proven experience in supervising field researchers in conducting fieldwork

3. Lab Technician

• Required number: 12
• Working Location: Nationwide
• Duration: 2- 3 Months

Eligibility Criteria:

• CMLT or lab assistant qualification
• One year of experience in biometric collection (e.g., Blood sample collection)

Basic Eligibility Criteria for All Positions:

• Experience in anthropometric assessment methods, MUAC, height, and weight measurement (preferred)
• Proficiency in using mobile and tablet-based data collection
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Fluency in written and spoken Nepali and English, including mother tongue
• Ability to travel independently during data collection
• Experience in conducting field-based surveys
