Plan International Job Vacancy for Coordinator and Director:

Plan International is an independent development and humanitarian organisation that strives for just world that advances children's rights and equality for girls. We have been working in Nepal since 1978 to help marginalised girls and boys, their families and communities for accessing their rights to survival, development, protection, and participation. We implement programs through local development partners in 24 districts in cooperation with the Nepal government, civil society organisations and schools.

Project: Adolescents SRHR improvement in Bardiya district, Nepal:

Plan International Nepal is implementing KOICA funded three years (2021-2023) SRHR project in Bardiya district aiming to help adolescents exercise their dignified SRH rights. The project will ensure that the students of targeted schools will have basic knowledge of SRHR and have access to Adolescent friendly SRH services in schools. The families and communities will be supportive of Adolescent SRH need and rights dispelling harmful social norms and taboos surrounding SRHR.

1. Finance Coordinator

- Adolescents SRHR improvement in Bardiya district, Nepal Fixed Term Employment until 31 December 2023 based in Bardiya

The Finance Coordinator will be responsible for the effective project finance management to ensure that project activities implemented are at the best quality with the most competitive costs and they respond to Country Office, National Office and Global Hub Policies and procedures in compliance with donor's condition.

2. Project Coordinator

- Adolescents SRHR improvement in Bardiya district, Nepal Fixed Term Employment until 31 December 2023 based Bardiya

The purpose of this position is to support the Project Specialist - Lead and Decide to oversee and ensure a high quality project implementation, in both development and humanitarian settings, and achieve targets towards Plan's and/or donor's requirements through overall management of the implementing partners within Adolescents SRHR improvement Project in the respective areas.

3. Operations & Finance Director - 1 Position (Re-advertisement)

Senior-level role with Fixed Term Employment for 2 years (with the possibility of renewal based on performance) based in Country Office, Kathmandu.

The purpose of this role is to provide strategic leadership for Plan International Nepal bringing an Operational and Finance perspective, ensuring that senior leadership has high-quality financial analysis for decision-making. To build a high-performing Operation and Finance team, that completes key deliverables on time, provides effective support to programs, and builds up local partner capacity. To ensure compliance with local law and Plan International policy and standards.

This role requires a strategic thinker with strong people management skills and the ability to drive change.

4. Director of Programme Quality and Innovation - 1 Position (Re-advertisement)

Senior-level role with Fixed Term Employment for 2 years (with the possibility of renewal based on performance) based in Country Office, Kathmandu.

The purpose of this role is to oversee the development of high quality, innovative programs that deliver immediate and lasting change for girls in Nepal in line with the Country Strategy, and for monitoring the quality of the implementation of those programs. It also leads the disaster preparedness and initial response for Plan International Nepal, providing technical assistance and appropriate monitoring and evaluation in emergency responses.
