Plan International Vacancy for Program Specialist, PSP, MERL, LPC, and Accountant:

We implement programmes through local development partners in 24 districts in cooperation with the Nepal government, civil society organisations and schools.

We invite application from interested and eligible candidates for the following positions:

1. Program Specialist- Thrive (Child Protection) -1 Position

Fixed-term employment for 2 years from the day of employment-based in Regional Office-East, Dhanusa.

The purpose of this position is to oversee and ensure a high-quality project implementation, in both development and humanitarian settings, and achieve targets towards Plan's and/or donor's requirements through overall management of the implementing partners within the Thrive program (Child Protection) in the respective areas and districts, under the direct supervision of Regional Manager.

2. Partner Support Specialist (PSP) -1 Position

Fixed-term employment for 2 years from the day of employment-based in Regional Office-East, Dhanusa.

The Partner Support Specialist is responsible for the financial management and associated partners' capacity building of all partnerships in place. S/he has to build the capacity of Plan's implementing partners in relation to financial management including budget, expenditure and reporting in order to develop and maintain a reliable, efficient, and effective financial system, with strong internal controls in place (this representing 60% of the role) and conduct audits on implementing partners through the course of the year (40% of the role). S/he manages effective relationships and communicates appropriately with all key internal and external stakeholders to ensure effective work planning and effective and diligent coordination between all parties.

3. Monitoring, Evaluation Research and Learning (MERL) Coordinator -1 Position

Fixed-term employment for 2 years from the day of employment-based in Regional Office-East, Dhanusa.

The Monitoring, Evaluation, Research and Learning (MERL) Coordinator is responsible for the technical leadership of collection, review, reporting, and learning in the context of project implementation at the regional and country levels and implement Plan International Nepal's Accountability Mechanism.

4. Logistics & Procurement Coordinator (LPC) -1 Position

Fixed-term employment for 2 years from the day of employment-based in Regional Office-East, Dhanusa.

The Logistics and Procurement Coordinator will be responsible for the coordination and implementation of the Procurement, Logistics and Administrative support of the program operations within the Regional Office — East in compliance with Plan International Nepal policies and procedure as well Govt. policies for procurement.

5. Accountant - 1 Position

Fixed-term employment for 2 years from the day of employment-based in Regional Office-East, Dhanusa.

An accountant performs regular and recurring accounting functions, including maintaining and reviewing accounting records and maintaining the general accounting documentation in a timely, reliable and reasonable manner, and ensuring all documents comply with Plan Nepal Operational Manual, policies and procedures designed by management, FOB, and the applicable Tax legislation.
