School of Development and Social Engineering, Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, Pokhara University invites applications from dynamic and qualified candidates for the post of Lecturer in the following subjects of Bachelor of Development Studies (BDEVS), and Bachelor of English and Communication Studies (BECS) programs:

Master's degree in Natural Resource Management or related subjects in Social Sciences with at least second division marks or equivalent. |

Tourism and Development - One (Course contract) |
Master's degree in Tourism and Development or related subjects in Social Sciences with at least second division marks or equivalent. |
|
Fundamentals of Human Geography - One (Course contract) |
Master's degree in Geography or related subjects in Social Sciences with at least second division marks or equivalent. |

Introduction to Geo-Information Science - One (Course contract) |
Master's degree in Geography or related subjects in Social Sciences with at least second division marks or equivalent. |

Human Ecology and Development - One (Course contract) |
Master's degree in Geography or related subjects in Social Sciences with at least second division marks or equivalent. |
|
Journalism: Theory and Practice - One (Course contract) |
Master's degree in Journalism and Mass Communication or related subjects with at least second division marks or equivalent. |

Copywriting and Copyediting - One (Course contract) |
Master's degree in Journalism and Mass Communication or related subjects with at least second division marks or equivalent. |

English - Two (Course contract) |
M.A. in English with at least second division marks or equivalent. |
Interested candidates are required to submit an application along with curriculum vitae, one recent passport size photograph, self-attested testimonials (transcript/mark sheets of SLC onwards), work experience certificates, and copy of citizenship certificate to the Office of the Director, School of Development and Social Engineering, Pokhara University on or before October 29, 2021. Experienced and highly qualified candidates will be given preference.
Only shortlisted candidates will be called for the further process of selection.
