
CEO Vacancy Notice at Budhigandaki Jalbidhyut Company Limited
This notice has been published to invite applications for the position of Chief Executive Officer (CEO) at Budhigandaki Jalbidhyut Company Limited.
The appointment will be made through open competition, as per Rules 36(1) and 36(2) of the Company Regulations, 2079, and in accordance with the CEO Recruitment Procedure, 2081 (including the first amendment).
Interested candidates who meet the minimum qualifications and experience must submit their application within 15 days from the date of publication, along with the required documents as listed below.
1. Minimum Educational Qualification and Work Experience

Master’s degree in Economics, Commerce, Management, or Engineering from a recognized university.

At least 12 years of work experience in a managerial position in the infrastructure sector.

Alternatively, a similar academic degree and 12 years of full-time teaching or research experience in the infrastructure sector.

Note: Research conducted solely to acquire a degree will not be recognized as work experience.
2. Age Limit
-
Must be at least 40 years old and not exceed 61 years as of the final date of application submission.
3. Application Fee
-
An amount of NPR 5,000 (Five Thousand Only) must be deposited to the company’s account no. 1420100005986001 at Rastriya Banijya Bank, Baneshwar Branch.

The original voucher must be submitted along with the application.
4. Disqualification Criteria
-
The grounds for disqualification are as per Section 4Kha of the CEO Recruitment Procedure, 2081 (with the first amendment).
5. Documents to Be Submitted with the Application
Applicants must include the following documents as per Section 8 of the Recruitment Procedure, 2081 (with the first amendment):

6. Business Strategic Plan and Action Plan
-
The applicant must prepare a business strategic plan and action plan not exceeding 5,000 words in either English (Times New Roman font) or Nepali (Unicode) on A4 size paper.

Each page must be numbered.

Enclose copies of citizenship, academic, and experience certificates in the first envelope.

Enclose three copies of the strategic plan in the second envelope.
-
Both envelopes must be sealed separately and then placed together in a third sealed envelope.

The outer envelope must clearly mention the applicant's name, surname, address, and contact number and bear the applicant's signature.

Only the cover page of the strategic plan may reveal the applicant's name. No name, sign, or mark identifying the applicant is allowed on other pages.
7. Invalid Applications
-
Applications will be rejected if any required document mentioned in Section 5 is missing or improperly submitted.

Applications not meeting the minimum qualifications or lacking required documents will be disqualified and excluded from the selection process.

The final decision to accept or reject applications lies with the selection committee.
8. Selection Process
-
The selection process will be as per Section 10 of the CEO Recruitment Procedure, 2081 (including the first amendment).
9. Tenure
-
The CEO will be appointed for a term of four years from the date of appointment.
10. Remuneration, Facilities, and Terms of Service
-
The CEO’s monthly salary, benefits, and other terms will be as determined by the Board of Directors based on the company's prevailing laws and the performance contract.
