Nepal Rastra Bank Application Form Notice 2082

Nepal Rastra Bank has announced that the following vacant posts will be filled through open competition. Eligible Nepali citizens are invited to submit application forms through electronic means (online) from 2082 Mangsir 19.

While submitting the application form online, applicants must fill in all details as prescribed by the Bank in the application form and, together with the form, scan and attach the electronic copies of the following documents:

Nepali citizenship certificate
Academic certificates meeting the minimum educational qualification required for the post being applied for (transcript, character certificate, and, in the case of academic qualifications obtained from countries other than Nepal, the equivalence certificate issued by the concerned body/institution)
For the post of Assistant (Assistant Second Level), the pre-qualification examination pass certificate based on the integrated examination system conducted by the Public Service Commission on 2082/07/15
Other prescribed documents/certificates
A recently taken passport-size photograph

The application must be submitted online by paying the prescribed fee by 2082 Poush 10, and by paying double the fee by 2082 Poush 17.

Only academic qualification certificates (including equivalence certificates, if required) issued on or before 2082 Poush 10 will be considered valid for the application. Applications that are not submitted within the deadline or that do not meet the required procedure will not be processed in any way.

If, in relation to irregularities in examinations, a candidate has previously been barred by the Public Service Commission from participating in any examination conducted by the Commission for a specified period, that candidate will not be eligible to submit an application for this advertisement within the period of such bar.

If any candidate submits the application form online by mentioning false details, the responsibility for such information will lie entirely with the candidate concerned.

In accordance with the mandamus order issued on 2079/10/24 by the Honourable Supreme Court in relation to writ petition no. 078-WO-0660 and other similar petitions concerning inclusive groups, the posts under inclusive groups will be filled only after the necessary legal provisions are made, and such filling of positions will be carried out in line with those legal provisions.

1. Minimum Educational Qualifications

A) Advertisement No. 13/2082, Assistant Director, Open (Economics):

The candidate must have secured first, second, or third position at the master’s level in Economics from a domestic university.

B) Advertisement No. 14/2082, Assistant Director, Open (Management):

The candidate must have secured first, second, or third position at the master’s level in Management from a domestic university.

C) Advertisement No. 15/2082, Assistant Director (Open, Women, Indigenous Nationalities, Madhesi, Dalit, Persons with Disabilities, Backward Area):

The candidate must have passed the master’s level in Economics or Management or Public Administration from a recognized university.

D) Advertisement No. 16/2082, Assistant Director (Accounts/Audit):

The candidate must have passed the chartered accountancy (CA/ACCA/CPA) examination from a recognized national or international chartered accountancy institution.

E) Advertisement No. 17/2082, Assistant Director (Commercial Law):

The candidate must have passed the master’s level examination in Law from a recognized university,
or
must have passed the master’s level in Economics or Management or Public Administration and the bachelor’s level in Law.

F) Advertisement No. 18/2082, Assistant (Assistant Second Level):

The candidate must have passed the certificate level or 10+2 or an equivalent examination from a recognized educational institution.
In addition, only those candidates who have passed the pre-qualification examination for Assistant Level Second Class, Kharidar or equivalent, or Fourth Level or equivalent posts on the non-technical side of organized institutions, conducted on the basis of the integrated examination system for organized institutions’ non-technical Assistant Level Second Class, Kharidar or equivalent, or Fourth Level or equivalent posts by the Public Service Commission on 2082/07/15, and who have obtained the pre-qualification certificate, will be potential candidates to submit applications for the post of Assistant (Assistant Second Level) in the Administration Service within one year from the date of issuance of the certificate.
Therefore, it is mandatory to submit the pre-qualification certificate that is within its validity period.

2. Basis for Inclusion

Candidates who submit application forms under inclusive groups must mandatorily submit certificates issued by the concerned body for Indigenous Nationalities (Adivasi/Janajati), Madhesi, Dalit, Persons with Disabilities, and Backward Area.

3. Salary, Allowances and Facilities

Salary, allowances, and facilities will be as per the rules of the Bank.

4. Age of Candidates

A) For the post of Assistant Director:

On the last date for submitting the application (2082 Poush 10), the candidate must have completed 21 years of age and must not have exceeded 35 years of age.

For female candidates, on the last date for submitting the application (2082 Poush 10), the candidate must have completed 21 years of age and must not have exceeded 40 years of age.

B) For the post of Assistant:

On the last date for submitting the application (2082 Poush 10), the candidate must have completed 18 years of age and must not have exceeded 35 years of age.

For female candidates, on the last date for submitting the application (2082 Poush 10), the candidate must have completed 18 years of age and must not have exceeded 40 years of age.

C) For current employees of this Bank, there will be no age limit.

5. Type of Examination

A) For the posts under Advertisement Nos. 13/2082, 14/2082, and 15/2082, candidates will be selected through a pre-qualification examination, a subject-wise written examination, and an interview.

B) For the posts under Advertisement Nos. 16/2082, 17/2082, and 18/2082, candidates will be selected through a subject-wise written examination and an interview.

C) The written examination for the posts under Advertisement Nos. 13/2082, 14/2082, and 15/2082 will be conducted under a joint examination system.

D) For posts where a pre-qualification examination is conducted, only candidates who pass the pre-qualification examination will be included in the subject-wise written examination.

E) Only candidates who pass the subject-wise written examination will be included in the interview.

6. Examination Centres and Conduction

A) The pre-qualification and subject-wise written examinations for Advertisement Nos. 13/2082, 14/2082, and 15/2082, and the subject-wise written examinations for Advertisement Nos. 16/2082 and 17/2082, will be conducted by the Public Service Commission in Kathmandu.

B) The subject-wise written examination for Advertisement No. 18/2082 will be conducted by the offices of the Public Service Commission at Dhankuta, Jaleshwar, Kathmandu, Pokhara, Butwal, Surkhet, and Dipayal, at locations specified by those offices.

C) The interviews for all advertisements will be conducted by the Central Office of the Bank.

7. Syllabus

The syllabuses for all posts are available on the Bank’s website.

8. Probationary Period

The probationary period will be 6 months for female employees and 1 year for male employees.

9. Eligibility for Retirement Benefit

Contribution-based retirement benefit will be provided.

10. Examination Fees

A) For Officer, Third Level:

For any one group: NPR 1,000 (one thousand rupees)
For each additional group: an additional NPR 400 (four hundred rupees)

B) For Assistant, Second Level:

For any one group: NPR 800 (eight hundred rupees)
For each additional group: an additional NPR 300 (three hundred rupees)

C) Examination fees of applicants whose applications are rejected due to non-fulfilment of the required conditions will not be refunded.

11. Process for Paying Examination Fees

While submitting the application form through electronic means, the examination fee must be paid via the payment service providers available on the online portal.

12. Placement

According to Advertisement No. 18/2082, the employees appointed will be placed in the Bank’s provincial offices.

Employees appointed under the other advertisements will be placed in the Central Office or provincial offices of the Bank as per the needs of the Bank.

13. Contact Date for Written Examination

Information regarding the written examination will be published later by the Public Service Commission.
