VACANCY ANNOUNCEMENT from PREMIER STEEL
Premier Steel, a new venture of an industry-leading group engaged in manufacturing of steel, cement, GI and cable/conductors, looking for motivated, competent and self-dynamic candidates. The daily production capacity of this new venture is 800 MTTMT bar and requires the following candidates for its head office in Biratnagar and corporate office in Kathmandu.
| 1. Civil Engineer - 2 |
Location: Kathmandu, Biratnagar
Qualification:
- Must have completed a Bachelor of Civil Engineering from a recognized university
- 2-3 years of work experience in the related field
- Sound knowledge of marketing of construction materials.
Responsibilities:
- Project marketing, achieving project sales target, sorting out quality issue and preparing an overall report of progress
- Building and maintaining a cordial relationship with the Clients, Civil Contractors, and Engineers
- Frequent market visits required; willingness to travel locally and outstation extensively
| 2. Project Manager - 1 |
Location: Kathmandu
Qualification:
- Must have completed Bachelor of Civil Engineering or Master in Management
- 3-5 years of work experience in projects sales of similar types of product
- Must have an attitude to maintain PR with Contractors, Engineers and Government bodies
Responsibilities:
- Project marketing and project sales' pursuing capabilities for new sales opportunities
- Maintaining a cordial relationship with Clients, Civil Contractors, and Engineers; developing a healthy work environment.
- Responsible for grabbing project demand and forecasting their sales targets.
- May require traveling outside Kathmandu
| 3. Sales Officer - 2 |
Location: Koshi to Janakpur
Qualification:
- Must have completed Bachelors from a recognized university
- 3-5 years of work experience in a similar field
- Sound knowledge about TMT bars and a keen interest in selling
Responsibilities:
- Developing and sustaining long-lasting relationships with the customers
- Seeking potential customers and encouraging them to buy company products
- Handling dealer network, books of account reconciliation and other related issues
| 4. Quality Control Officer -1 |
Qualification:
- Must have completed Bachelor of Engineering (Metallurgy) from a recognized university; (Candidates with Master of Engineering will be given priority)
- 8-10 years of experience in a similar industry
Responsibilities:
- Monitoring operation to ensure quality as per standard specification
- Supervising production line and furnishing reports
- Inspecting, testing and measuring the raw materials as well as finished products
| 5. Quality Control Assistant - 2 |
Qualification:
- Minimum 5 years of work experience in physical and chemical lab
- Must have Completed B.Sc. in Physics & Chemistry
Responsibilities:
- Executing plans to ensure the quality of products as per standards
- Assisting in inspecting, testing and measuring the raw material as well as final products along with preparing reports Location:

Qualification:
- Must have completed a Bachelor of Humanities or equivalent degree.
- Minimum 3 years of work experience in a similar field.
- Good knowledge of HR principle along with rules and regulations of the government
Responsibilities:
- Implementing effective HR policies to ensure all practices in behavior
- Monitoring factory staffs and labor-management effectively
