Government of Nepal, Prime Minister Agriculture Modernization Project (Pradhanmantri Krishi Adhunikikaran Pariyojana) Notice regarding hiring experts in the service contract for the operation of Knowledge Center:
This notice has been published for the appointment of wise persons in the service contract through open competition through interviews with eligible candidates for the following posts required for Sudurpashchim Pradesh under the Prime Minister Agriculture Modernization Project Implementation Unit
This notice has been published in person within 14 days from the date of publication of the notice to submit a written proposal in person at this unit in person (along with attached minimum educational qualification certificates, copy of Nepali citizenship certificate, and copy of work experience letter).
Vacancy Details:
1. Horticulture expert

Required Minimum Qualification: Candidates should have at least a bachelor's degree in agriculture/ horticulture or a related field. |

Required Minimum Experience: - Candidates with at least 3 years of professional experience preferably in the programs related to agribusiness development, value chain development, agriculture commercialization of fruits and vegetable crops research, and extension. - Preference will be given to specific experience on protected and precision agriculture. |

2. Plant Protection Expert

Required Minimum Qualification: Candidates should have at least a bachelor's degree in agriculture/ entomology/pathology or related field. |

Required Minimum Experience: - Candidates with at least 3 years of professional experience preferably in the programs related to agribusiness development, value chain development, agriculture commercialization, crop insect pest management, and extension. - Preference will be given to specific experience in apiculture. |

3. Agronomy Expert

Required Minimum Qualification: Candidates should have at least a bachelor's degree in agriculture/agronomy or related field. |

Required Minimum Experience: - Candidates with at least 3 years of professional experience preferably in the programs related to agribusiness development, value chain development, agriculture commercialization or agronomy, and oilseed crop research and extension. - Preference will be given to specific experience on mechanization in cereal crops. |

4. Social Development Expert

Required Minimum Qualification: Candidates should have at least a bachelor's degree in sociology or a related field. |

Required Minimum Experience: - Candidates with at least 3 years of professional experience preferably with development projects related ' to gender, social inclusion, and empowerment in agriculture commercialization. |
