Prime Minister's Agriculture Modernization Project JTA and VJTA:

In accordance with the Procedure on Agriculture and Veterinary Services Technical Selection in Service Agreement 2076 under the Prime Minister's Agriculture Modernization Project, Deputy Technical Assistants (JTA) and Deputy Veterinary Service Technicians (VJTA) have been selected in the service contract in the project implementation units under this project in the last fiscal year.
As the vacancies as per the specifications in the present project implementation units have to be filled through open competitive examination in the service contract for the posts of Deputy Technical Assistant and Deputy Veterinary Technician (Non-Gazetted Second Class Technician) as per the same procedure; Applications are invited from the following qualified candidates.
Candidates who have reached the prescribed minimum qualification should have duly filled the application form available from the concerned project implementation units and registered it in the project implementation units in the concerned district within the stipulated time.

Types of Exams: Written and Interview.
Examination Center: It will be published on the notice board of the concerned project implementation unit.
Application Fee: - The application fee for each advertisement is Rs. 300 (three hundred) will have to be submitted.
Place of submission of application fee: - Project Implementation Unit of the concerned district.
Last date to apply: - Date 2077-11-23.
Salary Facility: - As per the rules of Government of Nepal.
Age limit of the candidate: - By 2077-11-23, in case of male, 18 years of age and not exceeding 35 years; And in case of women not exceeding 40 years.
Written Exam Schedule: JTA and VJTA Exam Date and Time: Saturday, 2077-11-29 at 11:00 AM
Date of Interview: - Notice will be given when the result of the written examination is published.
Minimum Qualification Required:
(A) For Junior Technical Assistant - JTA (Agriculture): Must have passed SLC / SEE or equivalent from a recognized educational institution for at least one year JTA (Agricultural Science) training, or TSLC for agriculture subject from a recognized educational institution.
(B) For Veterinary Junior Technical Assistant - VJTA (Veterinary Service): Passed SLC / SEE from a recognized educational institution, or equivalent and received at least one-year training in VJTA (Animal Science, Animal Husbandry, Animal Health) or from an accredited educational institution (Animal Husbandry). Must have passed TSLC / SLC in Animal Health.
Syllabus:
(A) For JTA (Agriculture): - Plant Protection, Agronomy, Horticulture, Agri Extension, Swallow Science and Agro under Nepal Agriculture Service as determined by the Public Service Commission. The Eco.and Marketing Group will be based on the syllabus of Non-Gzetted Second Class, Deputy Technical Assistant or similar posts.
(B) For VJTA (Animal Service): Fisheries, Veterinary and Livestock Poultry and Dairy Development Group under Nepal Agricultural Service as determined by the Public Service Commission, Non-Gzetted Second Class, Deputy Veterinary Service Technician or similar posts will be based on the syllabus.
Note:
- Applications that have not been submitted within the time limit specified in the notice or have not met the minimum qualifications or have not disclosed other specified details or have not paid the prescribed fee will not be accepted.
- Candidates must have self-certified documents including educational qualifications to be submitted along with the application.
- Candidates who pass the written test should be present at the interview along with the certificate of educational qualification, citizenship, service experience and other documents.
- Must have achieved the prescribed educational qualification by the last date of application. Candidates who have studied in a foreign institute should have determined the equivalent of their qualification from the concerned body.
- The contract period will be one year at most (till mid-July of each financial year). If a permanent staff member from the Public Service Commission / Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock Development arrives within that period, the contract staff will be automatically removed. In case of satisfactory performance or absence of permanent staff, the service contract period may be extended as per the requirement of the project implementation unit.
- Matters not mentioned in this notice shall be in accordance with the prevailing law.
