1. Project Manager, Sahayatra II Required No.(s): 1

Term & Location: Fixed-term until December 2019 with the possibility of extension based in Surkhet

Description:

Lead the Sahayatra II, a multi-thematic integrated project, with multiple components and partners; overall project management cycle including overseeing the budget, partnership management and coordination with government and non-government stakeholders.

Qualification:

Master's degree or equivalent in Management, Education, Child Rights or related Social Science with minimum 7 years (5 years for GSI group) of experience in managing projects with multiple components and partners

2. Project Coordinator - Governance, Sahayatra II

Required No.(s): 1

Term & Location: Fixed-term until December 2019 with the possibility of extension based in Surkhet

Description:

Responsible to undertake policy advocacy related work in relation to program/projects issues at provincial and local levels; build network and relationship with the provincial government including parliamentarian to lobby and advocate for issue-based policy advocacy works; strengthen and support the field team to identify advocacy issues/opportunities and document best practices.

Qualifications:

Master's degree in Human Rights, Law, Political Science, Development Studies, Sociology or related Social Science(s) with minimum 3 years (2 years for GSI group) of experience in advocacy and campaigning; knowledge and experience from national and local systems for implementation of child rights is required

3. Documentation and Reporting Officer, Sahayatra II

Required No.(s): 1

Term & Location: Fixed-term until December 2019 with the possibility of extension based in Surkhet.

Description:

Responsible for documentation and reporting or the project; assist partners and Palika team for documentation of best practices, case stories, success stories and gather other project related information; support in capacity building of partner staff.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Communication, Sociology, Management or related disciplines with minimum 3 years (2 years for GSI group' of relevant work experience; experience in training and writing reports, case studies and best practices is required.

4. Logistics & Procurement Officer, Sahayatra II

Required No.(s): 1

Term & Location: Fixed-term until December 2019 with the possibility of extension based in Surkhet

Descriptions:

Facilitate logistics and procurement process through support in developing procurement plan; monitoring to ensure compliance of procurement policy and procedures; capacity building of partner to strengthen logistics and procurement systems.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Management or related disciplines with minimum 3 years (2 years for GSI group ) of experience in logistics and procurement; working knowledge in MS Excel is must.

5. Human Resource (HR) Coordinator - Recruitment

Required No.(s): 1

Term & Location: Fixed-term until December 2019 with the possibility of extension based in Kathmandu.

Descriptions:

Lead and manage the overall recruitments, which include managing and facilitating assessments; revise the existing recruitment policy, assessment tools & process and initiate to revise and/or design new approaches as required

Qualifications:

Master's degree or equivalent in Management or related disciplines with minimum 3 years' experience in HR management, especially managing recruitment and selection process; experience in writing candidates' profiles and documentation are required.

6. Project Coordinator - Education (NSSP)

Required No.(s): 2

Term & Location: Fixed-term until December 2019 with the possibility of extension based in Achham and Jumla.

Descriptions:

Overall management of the NSSP project in the assigned district; provide technical assistance to partner NGOs and GOs for quality project implementation in close coordination with NSET and local governments

Qualifications:

Master's degree in Education, Development Studies, Sociology or related fields with at least 3 years (2 years for GSI group) of experience in managing Education project/programs in coordination with government agencies and other stakeholders.

7. WASH Officer Required No.(s): 1

Term & Location: Fixed-term for 10 (ten) months based in Nuwakot.

Descriptions: Oversee the components of WASH, especially focusing on the construction of the water supply system at the field level; ensure the quality of the system to meet the set standards and provide required technical support; frequent monitoring of the schemes, confirming on the functionality of the system; support on the sanitation and hygiene alongside overall WASH activities.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Civil or Environmental Engineering with a minimum of 3 years (2 years for GSI group) experience in the WASH sector.

8. Media & Communication Officer

Required No.(s): 1

Term & Location: Fixed-term until December 2019 based in Butwal.

Descriptions:

Provide regular information, communication and media related support to Field Office in coordination with Media & Communication department; undertake regular field visits, gather, edit and coordinate media collateral likes images, audio, video, and texts for internal and external purposes and program documentation.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Media & Communication-related discipline or related Social Science(s) with at least 3 years (2 years for GSI group') of relevant experience; basic skills of using audio and video digital equipment such as still and video camera, audio recorders and multimedia software.

*GSl group include Female. Dalit, Madliesi, People with Disabilities and other indigenous/minorities
