1. Position: Project Manager MCGL

Term & Location: Fixed term; based in Kathmandu

Job Description:

Responsible for managing the overall USAID-funded Momentum Country and Global Leadership (MCGL) project, which focuses on high quality nurturing care for all newborns, including Small, Sick Newborns (SSNB), Quality of Care (QoC), intrapartum nutrition and maternal and perinatal death surveillance and response (MPDSR). The Project Manager will work closely with the Family Welfare Division of the MOHP and other line agencies supporting maternal and newborn health programs in Nepal. S/he will provide technical to health and nutrition program design, research, surveys and monitoring as required. S/he will be accountable for the timely implementation and monitoring of the project activities and budget.

Eligibility:

MBBS with MD in Pediatrics or Master of Public Health (MPH)/ /MSc in Public Health/Master in related public health field with minimum 7 years (5 years for GSI group) of  progressive work experience in health projects. Work experience in new-born health will be preferred

2. Position: Program Coordinator -TB

Required No.(s): 1

Term & Location: Fixed term; based in Pokhara Gandaki Province

Job Description:

Functions as a key technical member of the TB program in program planning, implementation and monitoring of all TB related activities in respective Province; will be responsible for technical oversight and backstopping TB programs and training activities to the relevant service delivery points in the Province; will work closely with the NTCC, provincial government, and local government in the respective province.

Eligibility:

Master of Public Health (MPH) with minimum of 3 years (2 years for GSI group*) experience in relevant field of Public Health program management

*GSI group includes Female, Dalit, Madhesi, People with Disabilities and other indigenous/minorities
