SEBON Notice for Open and Inclusive Competitive Recruitment

Securities Board of Nepal (SEBON - Nepal Dhitopatra Board) invites applications from eligible Nepali citizens to fill the vacant permanent posts through open and inclusive competitive examinations as approved by the Public Service Commission. The recruitment process will follow the Securities Board of Nepal Employee Service Conditions Rules, 2068 (with amendments).

Applications must be submitted through the Board’s online system. Candidates should visit https://www.sebon.gov.np/, go to the Career Tab, and apply using the link https://www.sebon.gov.np/career.

If the final application date falls on a public holiday, applications may be submitted on the next working day. The written examination will be conducted by the Public Service Commission. Any incomplete or late applications will not be processed.

Candidates must upload the following documents in PDF/JPG/PNG format:

  • Nepali citizenship certificate

  • Academic qualification certificates

  • Other documents mentioned in the advertisement

Candidates who obtained academic qualifications from outside Nepal must upload an equivalence certificate. Candidates must also upload the certificate of passing the pre-qualification exam conducted by the Public Service Commission.

Examination Fee and Payment

Candidates must pay the prescribed examination fee for each advertisement. Additional fees apply for each inclusive group applied for.

Required Minimum Qualification

1. For Assistant Second Category, Administration Service, Assistant Post:

  • Must have passed the Certificate Level or equivalent from a recognized educational institution.

Special Instructions for Inclusive Group Candidates

Candidates applying under inclusive categories must prepare the required documents at the time of application. After being shortlisted for the interview, they must bring original documents along with self-attested copies.

If the documents uploaded during application are not available with the candidate when required, the application may be cancelled.

a. For Madhesi Group:

  • If specified by notification in the Nepal Gazette: A certificate issued by the designated institution verifying the candidate as Madhesi.

  • If not designated in the Nepal Gazette: A certificate issued by the Chief District Officer based on the recommendation of the head of the concerned local level.

Notes

  1. The candidate must not be disqualified under the Securities Board of Nepal Employee Service Conditions Rules, 2068 (with amendments).

  2. Open and inclusive competitive examinations will be held jointly in a single sitting.

  3. Examination fees must be paid through Connect IPS, E-Sewa, or Khalti via the Board’s online application system. Service charges must be borne by the candidate.

  4. The double-fee period will not be counted for age, academic qualification, experience, or any other qualification.

  5. Applications that do not meet minimum qualifications, lack required details, or do not include the required fee will not be accepted.

  6. Required academic qualifications must be completed within the application deadline. Foreign academic qualifications must have equivalence certification.

  7. The Recruitment Committee reserves the right to cancel any application.

  8. Only black ink must be used in the examination; otherwise, the answer sheet will be cancelled.

  9. The curriculum is available on the Board’s website.

  10. Candidates must bring their original citizenship certificate and downloaded admit card to the written examination.
