SOS Children's Villages Nepal is an independent, non-governmental social development organization. The Nepali language teacher will be responsible for ensuring appropriate curriculum coverage, continuity and progression in the concerned subject area for all students. S/ he should guide students by assessing the special educational requirements by offering the best possible learning opportunities to enhance their skills. S/ he must display the ability to identify and select different instructional resources and methods to meet students’ varying needs. S/ he should plan and implement a learning curriculum, which includes activities for students that stress physical, social and emotional growth.
Educational Qualification: Minimum BA/ B.Ed. in Nepali (Preference may be given to candidates with master’s degree and teaching experience.)
For the position mentioned above, the candidate’s age should not exceed 35 years, must be computer literate with working knowledge of MS office applications. Candidates are expected to have excellent interpersonal skills with a positive attitude and should possess a natural ability for positive handling of children and child safety. Basic fluency in spoken English will be an added advantage.
