Taragaon Development Committee (Taragaon Bikash Samiti) Vacancy for Open Competitive Written Examination: Call for Applications

Taragaon Development Committee (TDC), in alignment with an agreement received from the Public Service Commission dated 2080/3/26, is looking to permanently fill several vacant positions. We are conducting an Open and Inclusive Competitive Written Examination to find qualified candidates to join our committed team.

Eligibility and Application Process

We invite applications from eligible Nepali citizens who meet the qualifications as per the Taragaon Development Committee (Employee Services, Conditions and Facilities) Regulations, 2079. To apply, follow the steps below:

1. Download the application form: Accessible on the committee's official website: www.taragaon.gov.np.

2. Attach required documents: Along with your application form, include a recent passport size photograph, copies of your educational qualifications, training, experience certificates, and proof of Nepali citizenship.

3. Submit your application: Send your completed application and accompanying documents to the central office of the committee.

Payment of Examination Fee

The examination fee is payable to the Taragaon Development Committee's account at Siddharth Bank, Account No. 01915170534. Please attach the collected voucher to your application form.

Important Dates and Information

Please note, if the last day of application submission falls on a holiday, applications will be accepted on the next working day. The Public Service Commission will conduct the written examination.

Examination Information

• Type of Examination: The selection process will consist of a Written Examination followed by an Interview.
• Examination Center: The examination will be held in Kathmandu.

Application Submission Details

• Place of Submission: Submit your application to the Taragaon Development Committee Central Office, Central Baneshwar, Kathmandu.
• Required Documents: Attach copies of your educational qualifications, citizenship, and if applicable, inclusive group opening documents.
• International Qualifications: Applicants with qualifications from countries other than Nepal must also submit an equivalency certificate.
• Application Deadline: The last date for application submission is 2080/4/18. Applications can still be submitted with a double fee until 2080/4/25.

Candidate Age Limit

• 6th Level Posts: Candidates should be at least 21 years old but not exceed 35 years of age as of 2080/4/18. For women and disabled candidates, the maximum age limit is extended to 40 years.
• 5th and 4th Level Posts: Candidates should be at least 18 years old but not exceed 35 years of age as of 2080/4/18. For women and disabled candidates, the maximum age limit is extended to 40 years.

Salary and Service Facilities

Compensation and benefits will be in accordance with the rules of the committee.

Written Exam Date

The date for the written examination will be announced after a decision is made by the Public Service Commission.

Examination Fee

The examination fee differs according to the advertisement and any additional inclusive groups applied for. The fee structure is as follows:

• Standard Examination fee: Rs. 1,200.
• Additional fee for each additional inclusive group: Rs. 400.
• Reduced Examination fee: Rs. 700.
• Reduced Additional fee: Rs. 500.

Minimum Qualifications

1. Administration Service, Administration Group, Level 6: Graduation from a recognized educational institution.
2. Administration Service, Accounts Group, Level 6: Graduation in Commerce or Management from a recognized educational institution.
3. Administration Service, Accounts Group, Level 5: Graduation from a recognized educational institution with Mathematics, Accounts, Economics, Statistics, or Management as the core subject or equivalent.
4. Technical Services, Food & Beverage Group, Level 5: Passed Certificate level or equivalent from a recognized educational institution.
5. Administration Service, General Administration Group, Level 4 (Khariar): SLC/SEE or equivalent examination with at least GPA 2.0 from a recognized educational institution.

Additional Guidelines for Candidates

• Candidates must fill out the first page separately and disclose their chosen categories/groups in the prescribed format on the admit card. Only one roll number and admit card will be provided.
• Candidates who do not disclose the required details will be disqualified from the examination.
• Candidates applying for multiple groups are required to submit only one copy of the necessary documents.
• For positions requiring experience, candidates must have completed the minimum service period for the respective post by the last date of application.
• Double duty periods will not be considered for age, educational qualification, experience period, and other qualifications.
• Applications that are not filed within the specified period, do not meet the minimum qualifications, do not disclose specified details, or do not submit the prescribed fee will not be accepted.
• Candidates must have attained the prescribed educational qualification within the last date of submission of the application.
• Candidates with qualifications from foreign institutions must submit an equivalency certificate from the relevant body.
• The Vacancy Committee reserves the right to reject any application with or without reason.
• Candidates must use only black ink in the exam. Otherwise, the answer sheet will be cancelled.
