The Gurkha Welfare Trust Nepal Vacancy for Medical Centre Assistant and Biomedical Equipment Technician (BET):
The Gurkha Welfare Trust Nepal is the field arm of Gurkha Welfare Trust UK, a registered charitable Trust working particularly for the ex-Gurkha Veterans and their communities across Nepal. We invite applications from all interested and qualified candidates for the below positions:
1. Medical Centre Assistant based at Key Area Welfare Centre (AWC) Damak:
- S/he will be responsible to perform routine administrative and clinical tasks to keep the Medical Centers running smoothly and effectively.
Qualifications and Experiences:
- Minimum Technical SLC level medical training (CMA/ANM), PLC Nursing or general medicine (HA) (would be an advantage) with at least 1-year experience within medical service delivery environment/Hospital
2. Biomedical Equipment Technician (BET)based at HQ, Pokhara:
S/he will be responsible to provide technical knowledge and direct support to ensure that all GWT medical equipment and devices are tested, repaired, and maintained as required.
Qualifications and Experiences:
Diploma in Biomedical Equipment Engineering (preferred) or Degree in Engineering related field with at least 2 years of proven experience in the Biomedical Equipment field.
