Women Empowerment Mission (WEM) Job Vacancy for Protection Officer, Supply Management Officer, and IT Officer:

This notice has been published as the following manpower is required for the programs run by Women Empowerment Mission (WEM) in partnership with the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA).

1) Post: Protection Officer -7

Educational Qualifications: Bachelors in Social Science, Development Studies or other related subjects from a recognized university

Required Qualifications: Worked in the field of Gender-Based Violence, Gender Equality, and Social Inclusion, Child Protection, etc. for at least 3 years.

Main responsibility:

To provide technical assistance and cooperation on protection issues including gender-based violence, child violence, and other discriminatory activities.
To provide technical assistance to work hard in the field of gender equality under the Beti Padau Beti Bachao program and to conduct this public awareness activity.

Area of work: Janakpur of Dhanusha, Kaudena Rural Municipality of Sarlahi, Godaita Municipality, Malangwa Municipality, and Yamunamai Rural Municipality of Rautahat, Gujra Municipality, and Gaur Municipality, 1/1 each.

Duration: 3 months (October to December 2020)

Priority: Experienced in the related field, women and marginalized communities, and know the local residents or language

2) Supply Management Officer -1

Minimum Educational Qualification: Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy from a recognized University.

Required Qualifications: At least 2 years of working experience in health care supply management, good knowledge of local and English language, able to cooperate, and coordinate with stakeholders.

Main Responsibilities: To analyze and monitor the supply chain of health products at district, municipality, and local levels within the province, to update the statistics of health products, to provide technical assistance to strengthen the supply chain in districts and localities, and to cooperate and coordinate among stakeholders.

Areas of work: Province Health Supply Management Center, Janakpur

Duration: 3 months

3. Information Technology Officer -1

Minimum Educational Qualification: Minimum Bachelor of Computer Science or Information Technology (BSc Computer, BSc IT, BCA) from a recognized University

Required Qualifications: At least 2 years of working experience in Health Sector Information Management or Health Supply Management Information System (LMIS / eLMIS), experience in the web page, mobile app manufacturing, and data management, can coordinate with stakeholders.

Main Responsibilities: To analyze the information related to supply management received from all the health offices and hospitals in the state, to assist in improving the quality of data, to provide technical assistance in collecting and managing information related to health supply at district and municipality level, to coordinate regularly with stakeholders.

Areas of work: Province Health Supply Management Center, Janakpur

Duration: 3 months
