WORLD BANK GROUP VACANCY ANNOUNCEMENT for Transport Specialist
The World Bank's Transport (ISAT I ) Global Practice seeks to recruit a dynamic professional as a Transport Specialist, to be based in Nepal Country Office in Kathmandu. This is a two-year Term appointment.
The candidate should have Advanced degree (Masters or PhD) in relevant field (transport engineering/planning/economics, or related subject) with a minimum of 5 years of relevant professional experience in the transport sector with a focus on at least two of the following areas:
(a) highway/roads engineering;
(b) transport planning, design, and operations;
(c) urban mobility;
(d) management/implementation of transport infrastructure investments and operational services;
(e) public procurement and contract management; and
(e) Logistics services.
This is a position subject to local recruitment under the Nepal compensation plan.
