VACANCY ANNOUNCEMENT

World Vision International Nepal (WVIN), an international Christian relief, development, and advocacy organization dedicated to working with children, families, and communities to overcome poverty and injustice, is looking for potential Nepalese candidates to fill out the following position:

Position: Field Operations (Programs Implementation) Director — One based in National Office, Lalitpur

Key Responsibilities: To provide strategic and operations leadership in ensuring quality, effective, efficient and timely implementation of all World Vision International (VVVI) Nepal's projects resulted in a contribution to the realization of the well-being of the most vulnerable children and communities in Nepal.

Minimum Qualifications and Experience Required: Graduate degree qualification and/or professional qualification in International Development Studies, Community Development or any Social Science related degree or MBA with at least 8 — ID years of experience in Program Management in a complex, international organization preferably in INGO context. Should have at least one Sectoral program expertise. Experience in high-level government 10 & UN representation is desirable, must have high critical, creative and innovative thinking to provide strategic leadership, should have developed people in a cross-cultural setting, initiated, and implemented organizational change at a leadership level.

Core competencies for the position: Excellent written and verbal skills in English and Nepali. Demonstrated proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office computer programs including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Proven leadership ability, facilitation and collaboration skills are essential. Should have influencing and coaching skills (ability to work with influence at different levels in the organization). Building collaborative relationships and have a high level of accountability and integrity. Should be willing to work under pressure; be creative and innovative with decision-making and problem-solving. Must be willing and able to travel nationally.
