World Vision International Nepal (WVIN), an international Christian relief, development, and advocacy organization dedicated to working with children, families, and communities to overcome poverty and injustice, is looking for potential Nepalese candidates to fill out the following position.

Position: Driver (One)-based in Sarlahi District

Key Responsibilities: To perform vehicle operation with safety of passengers and driver himself/herself and protect the expensive assets from any kind of accidents; Should strictly observe traffic Rules and Regulation and maximum speed limit as prescribed by the WVIN security department; Should maintain assigned vehicles always clean and in good condition; Ensure vehicle is given regular/day-to-day maintenance checks: check oil, water, battery, brakes, lights & tire condition; Assist Fleet Officer to ensure vehicle insurance and registration is updated; Should drive the client vehicles safely and comfortably and must exercise defensive driving while on the road to prevent accident; Should strictly maintain Log Book.

Minimum Qualifications and Experience required:

At least SLC/ SEE (class I 0) passed with minimum of four years increasingly responsible vehicle operation experience; Working knowledge of the rules and regulations involved in the safe efficient operation and maintenance procedures of automotive equipment; Ability to understand and follow oral and written instruction both in English and Nepali; Should be flexible to live in remote areas for short period in times of need; Hold a high level of integrity and honesty, self-motivated, confident, and able to work independently.
