Position: CAMPAIGNS & EDUCATION OFFICER
Major Responsibilities:
Under the direct supervision of the Chief Operating Officer, the Campaigns and Education Officer will be responsible for WWF Nepal's conservation education programs and The Generation Green youth engagement program. S/he will be responsible for developing and implementing the education program plan and strategies, conceptualizing and organizing events and campaigns targeting children and youth, partnership development and monitoring of education programs on a regular basis. Coordinating with educational institutions, education networks and relevant stakeholders for successful implementation of programs will be necessary.
Qualifications:
A Bachelor's degree, preferably in education, social sciences. marketing, or related fields with at least three years of relevant working experience is required. Preference will be given to candidates who have a good understanding of youth outreach programs/ campaigns, education system and knowledge on areas related to environmental science. Good skills in Microsoft Office programs along with excellent communication, presentation and organizational skills is desired. S/he should be effectively able to prioritize and work under time constraints, using initiative and judgement. Strong interpersonal and team-player skills are essential.
