Bachelor in Nursing Science (BNS) / Bachelor of Midwifery (B.Mid) and M.Sc. Nursing Program
Entrance Examination 2018 August Session
Applications are invited for the Bachelor in Nursing Science / Bachelor of Midwifery and M.Sc. Nursing program of Kathmandu University School of Medical Sciences.
- Bachelor in Nursing Science and Bachelor of Midwifery
Eligibility Criteria:
- Successfully completed 3 years certificate level of nursing from a recognized institution and should have secured an aggregate of 50% or more marks.
- Should have minimum of One year work experience (by 31 July 2018) after successful completion of the certificate nursing course,
- Be registered with Nepal Nursing Council.
Course Duration: 4 Years
- M.Sc. Nursing Program in Different subjects:
Eligibility Criteria:
- Have successfully completed 4 years B.Sc. nursing or minimum of 3 years Bachelor in nursing sciences (BNS) from a recognized institution and should have secured an aggregate of 60% or more marks.
- Have minimum of one year (by 31 July 2018) of clinical or teaching experience after successful competition of 4 years B.Sc. Nursing or minimum 3 years of Bachelor in Nursing Sciences (BNS).
- Be registered with Nepal Nursing Council.
Application Form Submission process and Deadline:
The applicants must fill up and submit online application form from www.kusms.edu.np with a copy of bank voucher of Nepal Investment Bank worth NRs, 3000/- for Bachelor level and NRs, 5000/- for Master Level for each form (non-refundable), deposited in the name of KUSMS Account Number: 00505030017934 on or before 8 July 2018 before24:00 hrs. Deposit can be made through any branches of Nepal Investment Bank.
Candidates who have submitted online application forms will get Admit Card with seat number which should be color printed must bring to enter the examination Hall.
Entrance Examination: Date, Time and Venue:
- Date of Entrance Examination: Saturday, 14 July 2018
- Time and Venue: Will be notified later
Entrance test result will be published at www.kusms.edu.np or www.dhulikhelhospital.org
The Examination will be valid for the Academic Year 2018 only.
- Candidates are instructed to read their eligibly criteria before depositing the bank voucher and submission of online application.
- Candidate submitting wrong information in their online application form will not be allowed to enter counselling session even though the candidate may have passed the Entrance Examination, Such candidates entrance examination will be automatically cancelled if it does not meet the requirements of the University.
