Banganga Multiple Campus was established with the involvement of local social workers, intellectuals, businesspersons, guardians, and the initiative of Banganga Secondary School. Its founding purpose was to respond to the shortage of accessible higher education in Kapilvastu and to support the development of skilled, research-oriented, and professionally capable human resources.
The campus received affiliation for the Faculty of Education in BS 2066. Bachelor-level classes in education began in BS 2067. The Faculty of Management was added in BS 2070, after which the campus began operating the BBS program. Since then, the institution has continued to function as a community campus with a non-profit and service-oriented academic character.
Its location has helped it become a practical study destination for students who face financial or geographic barriers in pursuing higher education outside the district. The relationship between the campus and the surrounding community remains close, with local participation contributing to institutional development, land support, basic services, and campus expansion.
Banganga Multiple Campus currently operates two bachelor-level programs under Tribhuvan University:
Four-year annual system under TU Faculty of Education
All four years are in operation at the campus
Major subject areas offered since BS 2067 include:

The TU four-year B.Ed. structure is designed as both an academic and professional program.
