Dronachal Multiple Campus was established through the involvement of local guardians, intellectuals, teachers, students, political representatives, social workers, education supporters, and donors of Dailekh district. Its foundation reflects the need for a local higher education institution in a remote hilly area where students and families needed access to university-level study closer to home.
The campus began teaching and learning activities at the bachelor’s level in the Faculty of Education from the building of the then secondary school. As student numbers and institutional needs grew, local support helped the campus obtain land and move toward its own physical base.
The campus now operates with community ownership and public support. Its financial and physical development has been linked with support from the University Grants Commission, Karnali Province Government, Dullu Municipality, the former District Development Committee, donors, student fees, and public participation.
Dullu has historical and cultural significance in the region. The area is associated with the ancient Sinja state, Baisi-Chaubisi history, the Panchkoshi pilgrimage area, the eternal flame of Jwala, and early evidence of the Nepali language. The campus is part of this local setting, where education, culture, language, and community identity are closely connected.
The campus vision is to strengthen its role as an educational institution serving students of the region. Its mission focuses on producing competent, skilled, efficient, and productive human resources through higher education.

The Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) program under Tribhuvan University is a four-year annual-system program. It includes professional education courses, specialization subjects, and teaching practice or practicum components.
Under the Faculty of Management, the campus runs the Bachelor of Business Studies (BBS) program. The four-year BBS classes have been conducted since B.S. 2070. Dronachal Multiple Campus manages academic delivery through faculty departments and committees. Under the Faculty of Education, departments are in operation for Nepali, English, Mathematics, Health and Physical Education, Population Education, and Political Science Education. These departments support teaching activities, research-related work, required teaching materials, internal examinations, practical examinations, and internal evaluation.
The Faculty of Management department supports teaching and learning activities for BBS-level subjects, internal examinations, practical examinations, and student evaluation.
The campus has arranged three internal examinations and one full-level assessment in each academic session to support academic monitoring. An internal examination committee analyzes student results and provides feedback where needed.
