Overview
Kakaling Campus (ककलिङ क्याम्पस, सिन्धुपाल्चोक) is a community-based campus established in 2012 AD (2069 BS). It is located in Lisankhu Pakhar Rural Municipality–7, Thulopakhar, Sindhupalchok, Bagmati Province, Nepal. The campus is affiliated with Tribhuvan University and offers bachelor’s degree programs in Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) and Bachelor of Business Studies (BBS).
The campus serves students seeking higher education within the local area through morning-shift classes and academic support aligned with Tribhuvan University rules and the annual calendar. Along with its academic programs, the campus provides scholarships and fee support for merit-based and need-based categories. Academic Programs
Kakaling Campus offers four-year full-time bachelor’s degree programs under Tribhuvan University. The available courses are Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) and Bachelor of Business Studies (BBS). Entrance, admission, course curriculum, annual examinations, and results follow Tribhuvan University rules, guidelines, and the TU annual calendar.
Scholarships and Student Support
The campus provides fee waivers or cash awards to students who achieve excellent marks in the entrance examination or in the previous academic level, as well as to campus toppers. Scholarships are also available for Dalit students, Indigenous communities, persons with disabilities, martyrs’ families, and students from extremely weak economic backgrounds.
The Rural Municipality may recommend outstanding or disadvantaged students from its area for higher education support and scholarship arrangements. This reflects the campus’s local role in widening access to bachelor-level education.
