Bachelor in Information Technology at KDBC
The Bachelor in Information Technology program follows the Purbanchal University BIT curriculum. Its first semester combines Mathematics-I, Fundamentals of Information Technology, Technical Communication (English), Basic Electrical System & Circuit, Principles of Management, Computer Programming-I, and Project-I.
This structure brings programming and IT fundamentals together with mathematics, communication, management, electrical concepts, and project-based study. Fundamentals of Information Technology covers areas such as computer systems, software, database management, telecommunications, internet technologies, multimedia, information security, and applications of information technology.
The presence of programming and project work from the first semester gives students direct academic contact with both conceptual and practical areas of computing.
Bachelor of Business Administration at KDBC
The BBA is KDBC's undergraduate management program. Its academic coverage includes accounting, finance, marketing, human resource management, entrepreneurship, and other areas of business administration.
The program is intended for students beginning formal university-level study in management and business. Alongside academic coursework, the college connects management education with presentation activities, field visits, and internship exposure.
For BBA admission, applicants are required to have at least 45% marks or a 2.0 CGPA in High School/Grade 12 or an equivalent examination. A-Level qualifications are also included within the stated entry routes.
Master of Business Administration at KDBC
The Purbanchal University MBA curriculum carries 69 credit hours across four semesters. The program moves through core management subjects, electives, seminars, specialization courses, research work, and a thesis.
First-semester courses include Marketing for Managers, Communication for Managers, Accounting for Managers-I, Legal Framework of Business, Decision Sciences, and an elective. Later semesters cover Human Resource Management and Organizational Behavior, Economics for Managers, Financial Management, Operations Management, Entrepreneurship and Social Enterprises, Research Methodology and Thesis Proposal, Information Technology Management, International Business, Strategic Management, Corporate Governance and Corporate Social Responsibility, seminars, and thesis work.
The MBA curriculum provides specialization options in Marketing, Finance, Human Resource Management, and Operations and Supply Chain Management. Students select courses within their chosen specialization as they progress through the program.
MBA admission at KDBC requires an undergraduate degree from an accredited institution together with a CGPA of 2.0 or second division with 45% marks.
Executive MBA at KDBC
The Executive MBA is structured for applicants who already have an undergraduate qualification and work experience. At KDBC, work experience is compulsory for admission, alongside the stated academic requirement of a bachelor's degree with a CGPA of 2.0 or 40% aggregate.
The EMBA curriculum covers Business Management, Microeconomic Analyses, Business Statistics, Management Accounting, Human Resources Management, Managerial Communication, Macroeconomic Analyses, Quantitative Techniques, Organizational Psychology, Marketing Management, Corporate Financial Management, Research Methodology, Management Information Systems, Strategic Management, production and operations management, International Business, Total Quality Management, specialization subjects, and thesis work.
Specialization areas include Financial Management, Human Resource Management, Marketing Management, and Operations Management. The learning method incorporates discussions, seminars, presentations, case studies, and project work in addition to regular classes.
Admission Process
Admission requirements at KDBC vary according to the academic level and nature of the program. The BBA begins after higher secondary or equivalent education, while MBA admission requires an undergraduate qualification. The Executive MBA adds work experience to its undergraduate-degree requirement.
The college administration handles course, admission, eligibility, fee, scholarship, and counseling inquiries. Applicants can therefore use the program-specific academic criteria together with the relevant intake information when preparing an application.
Classroom learning, field exposure, and internships
KDBC combines regular academic study with activities intended to connect coursework with communication, presentation, and workplace settings.
Presentation activities and extracurricular participation form part of the broader student experience. Field visits to industries are also included, while internship exposure has been associated with banking, industrial, agricultural, and tourism sectors.
The college also uses corporate mentors and industry visits as part of its interaction with professional settings. Placement support is included among its student services, although employment outcomes depend on recruitment requirements, student performance, vacancies, and employer selection.
For management students, these activities sit alongside coursework in areas such as finance, marketing, human resources, operations, communication, research, and strategy. BIT students follow a curriculum that includes programming, IT systems, communication, management, and project components.
Library and student services
The college provides a library with books and learning materials along with reference support and photocopying services. These resources support regular coursework, assignments, presentations, projects, and independent academic study.
A cafeteria is available on campus for food and beverages. Student support also extends to academic activities outside routine lectures, including field visits, internship-related exposure, and other curricular and extracurricular programs.
Technology is also used within the teaching and learning environment, while corporate interaction and industry visits add a professional component to the academic setting.
Scholarships
KDBC has scholarship provisions linked to both financial need and academic performance. Need-based scholarships are intended for financially constrained students, while merit scholarships are associated with strong performance in university examinations.
Scholarship arrangements form part of the college's wider student-support system alongside academic resources, internship exposure, and administrative counseling.
Institutional direction
KDBC's management education approach places business knowledge alongside communication, leadership, entrepreneurship, and professional exposure. Its stated mission focuses on developing students through an educational environment that supports responsibility and adaptability in business settings.
Its vision centres on human-resource development in business and management through education and professional practice.
Motto: “To Create Future Leaders with Imagination, Inspiration, Illumination & Insight.”
The college's four-program structure now spans information technology, undergraduate business administration, general postgraduate management, and executive-level management study. This allows students to identify a course according to their academic stage and subject area rather than treating KDBC as a management-only institution.
