Overview
Om Health Campus (OHC) is a health education campus located at Gopikrishnanagar, Chabahil, Kathmandu. Established in 1998 as a sister organization of Om Hospital & Research Center, the campus began with an 18-month ANM training program and later expanded its academic focus to nursing and public health education.
Its bachelor-level programs are affiliated with Purbanchal University (PU). Academic study combines classroom learning with practical, clinical, laboratory, field, research, and community-based components according to the structure of the respective programs.

The nursing programs cover theoretical and practical study in areas such as basic health sciences, nursing care, community health, medical-surgical nursing, midwifery, research, leadership, and management. PBNS also includes elective nursing areas alongside practical and research components.
The BPH program covers public health science, epidemiology, nutrition, environmental and occupational health, health education, statistics, policy, community work, field-based practice, project management, and research.
Admission, MEC Rules, Seats and Licensing
Admission to bachelor-level medical and nursing education is based on MECEE-BL and follows the prevailing rules, guidelines, code of conduct, scholarship provisions, seat allocation system, fee structure, and admission procedures set by the Medical Education Commission (MEC).
Seat numbers are determined by MEC for each admission cycle and may vary from year to year. Fees, scholarships, seat allocation, examination guidelines, and admission procedures are also subject to MEC decisions and the official MEC calendar.
After completing the respective program, graduates must pass the licensing examination of the relevant professional council before entering professional practice. The regulatory bodies associated with these academic areas include the Nepal Nursing Council and the Nepal Health Professional Council (NHPC).
