Course Overview
The BBS program is intended to build a broad understanding of business administration and organizational management. It combines conceptual learning with subjects that reflect the practical work of business, industry, and public organizations.
Students study the main functions of an organization rather than concentrating on a single business area from the beginning. This approach gives them a foundation in accounting, economics, finance, communication, law, marketing, human resource management, taxation, strategy, and entrepreneurship.
The program also introduces research methods and project work. By the final year, students can concentrate on Accounting, Finance, Management, or Marketing.
Who May Find the BBS Program Suitable?
The course may suit students who are interested in how organizations operate and how business decisions are made. It is particularly relevant to learners who want to study subjects such as accounting, finance, economics, marketing, administration, or entrepreneurship.
Because the curriculum includes language, statistics, research, and numerical subjects, students should be prepared for both written and quantitative academic work. The annual system also requires steady study throughout each academic year.
Eligibility for Admission
Candidates applying for the BBS program must have completed 10+2 in business or commerce, or an equivalent qualification from a board or institution recognized by Tribhuvan University.
Applicants must also meet any additional entry requirements prescribed by the Faculty Board or the college.

The project is evaluated by internal and external examiners, and a viva voce is conducted by the concerned research committee. Students must pass theoretical, practical, and project components separately where these components apply.
Teaching and Learning Process
TU’s BBS framework supports a combination of classroom lectures, group discussions, problem-solving exercises, guest lectures, practical work, project assignments, and case-based learning.
At Bardagoriya College, classes are taught by skilled and experienced professors. The college also conducts regular internal examinations to monitor student progress. Its academic support includes a library, a peaceful learning environment, and scholarships in various fields.
