Health Education
Students study one area as their main specialization and another subject as a minor specialization under the Tribhuvan University curriculum. The minor subject must be different from the major subject.

Communication courses include General Nepali and General English. Professional core subjects cover Philosophical and Sociological Foundations of Education, Educational Psychology, and Curriculum and Evaluation.

Specialization-Based Study

Eligibility for Admission
Eligibility: Applicants seeking admission to the first year must have obtained an overall C grade, stated as grade 2.01 or above, in Grade 12 from a recognized educational institution or passed a 10+2 equivalent qualification with at least second division.
Subject-related entry conditions also apply to particular specialization areas. Nepali Education requires Grade 12 or PCL with Nepali as a major subject carrying at least 200 marks.
For English Education, applicants may qualify through English or Linguistics as a major subject, at least 50 percent in General English, or at least 50 percent in the entrance examination conducted by the concerned department.
Teaching Practice
Teaching Practice is a compulsory fourth-year component carrying 100 marks. It allows students to apply subject knowledge, teaching methods, lesson preparation, classroom communication, and educational assessment in a practical setting.
