In the third year, students study any two core subjects from the first or second year, either from the physical group or the biological group. These carry 300 marks in total. The year also includes Research Methodology carrying 100 marks and two elective courses from the respective subject pool carrying 100 marks.
The fourth year includes one major subject selected from the third year, with two courses from the same subject. These core courses carry 300 marks. The year also includes Project Work or Field Work, or Applied Science leading to the core subject, carrying 100 marks. In addition, students take a compulsory Computational Course carrying 50 marks and one Interdisciplinary Course carrying 50 marks.
