B.Ed. Program Overview
Tribhuvan University’s four-year B.Ed. is an academic and professional teacher education program. Its curriculum includes communication skills, foundations of education, subject specialization, instructional methods, technology-related study, and classroom practice.

Population Education accepts applicants with academic backgrounds that include Population Studies, Geography, Economics, Health and Physical Education, Community Health, Science, Mathematics, Home Science, Civics, Social Service, Nursing, or Commerce. Minor subjects, apart from the specified biological science condition, are generally open regardless of the applicant’s previous subject area.
Teaching Practice and Academic Support
Teaching practice is completed in the fourth year and carries 100 marks. It allows students to apply educational theory, subject knowledge, lesson preparation, instructional methods, and classroom management in a practical setting.
