Practical legal learning at SANN

Research-paper activities also introduce the basic steps of selecting a topic, gathering information, arranging arguments, and presenting conclusions. These experiences can be useful for students planning to continue into a reading- and writing-intensive undergraduate law program.

Eligibility and admission

Applicants must have passed the Secondary Education Examination or an equivalent examination from a recognised institution. They must also meet the minimum subject-grade requirements prescribed by NEB for admission to Grade 11.

After submitting the application form, eligible candidates appear for an entrance examination conducted by the college. The test includes questions from Mathematics, English, and General Knowledge. Candidates then attend an interview as part of the selection process.

Learning environment

Law students have access to internet-supported classrooms, a library, e-library resources, study lobbies, research areas, examination halls, activity and cultural spaces, and a student learning hub.

The college library contains more than 6,000 books and subscribes to magazines and print newspapers. Its e-library provides access to books, full-text journals, and other online resources through ProQuest. Classrooms include internet access and facilities for digital presentations.

SANN also operates a Legal Club, which provides another setting for law-related discussions, presentations, competitions, awareness work, and student-led activities.
