Automobile Engineering is a branch of engineering which deals with designing, manufacturing, and operating automobiles. It is a segment of vehicle engineering which deals with motorcycles, cars, buses, trucks, etc. It includes mechanical, electrical, electronic, software and safety elements. The use of vehicles in daily life is increasing day by day with the development process which facilitates and saves time. Diploma in Automobile Engineering extends over a period of three academic years, consisting of 6 semesters.
This program aims to develop student skills to become Automobile Sub-Engineering for monitoring, supervision, designing, and development as well as control or motor vehicle production processes.
The automobile industry is a huge industry, there is a wide range of opportunities for automobile sub-engineers. Recently bike production (assembling) plant has been started in Nepal. Different international brand automobiles are running, they have their own workshops for maintenance, such companies offer job opportunities. Self-employment opportunities can be created at the local level too.
The students also are eligible to join further higher bachelor level in automobile engineering in Nepal as well as foreign countries. Eligibility Criteria:
SLC Pass or SLC/SEE with a minimum C grade in Compulsory Mathematics & Science and D+ in Compulsory English. TSLC in Civil Engineering with minimum 66.68%
